Couldn't be any happier with the service PIA provides. Definitely recommend them to anyone.
Utilisateur depuis plusieurs années, jamais eu aucun problème de connexion, malgré mes nombreux déplacements. Un produit à recommander.
I'm conscious about my privacy but am also on a budget and PIA was able to provide me with acceptable speeds, a ton of features and great customer service all at an affordable price. I'm going on two years now and although their server speeds fluctuate pretty drastically depending on the time of day they've been adding new ones pretty consistently and haven't dropped below my level of comfort. I set my service up through my router as their 5 device limit would of quickly been used up otherwise. Doing it this way allows me to route as many devices through the VPN as I have in my house at any given time leaving me with 4 additional connections that I can use when I'm on the go. Overall I would highly suggest their service if you're in the market for a new VPN provider.
Speed are inconsistent, fluctuate a lot and aren't stable, not to mention pretty damn slow. I average 250KB/s to 650KB/s range, sometimes I'll be lucky and pull down 1.5MB/s but very rarely. Other than this huge gripe, the service has been pretty good. I don't suffer any random dc's either. At $40/yr it's difficult to be super upset at PIA. Thanks PIA for a fairly solid service.
It was a good ride for 2 years, but now PIA has to step up their game. I won't renew my subscription with PIA. The main reason I used it was Netflix, which is now broken although PIA could easily handle it. They don't answer this in their support forums and I guess they will not change anything about it. The servers are okay though, but other services offer more functionality.
I am very pleased with your service. There was one glitch a few months ago where you updated the VPN, and I had problems. This was solved by reinstalling the whole program and not just the update. Jerry
I honestly could not live without Private Internet Access, it's a necessity in this day and age.
The service is super easy to install, very stable, very fast speeds. I only really have two reservations. Sometimes the server that it chooses to route through (most likely for load distribution or speed reasons) is located in a different country or continent even which makes some services which require on location for licensing (youtube for example) not work. The other reservation is their recent IP address leak vulnerability in Nov 2015. That being said, they were quick to respond and professional in their communication of the issue and risks involved.
Not a reliable service, inconsistent and no Netflix. Meh.
I am very pleased with the overall service quality. I set up PIA in my pfSense router and never looked back. I have a 60x6 Time Warner connection and never have speed issues. The only downside is Netflix blocks VPN, but that is really a Netflix issue and not a PIA issue. Please call Netflix and complain to them about their VPN filtering!
