I have had problems with windows not being able to connect in the past. I think it is windows problem. I have contacted Customer Svc. at the company and it was fixed once. I have 100Mbs internet. Never seem to get much more than 50-80 Mbs when connected. Maybe that is overhead or connections. Most of the time it does work and is great. Never had problems on my Mac. Good speed and easy connections. PCs are a problem from time to time.

Easy installation across PC and mobile (android) devices. Can be slow at times, depending on the type of traffic. No longer works with Netflix for regional streaming. The biggest challenge I have is with the mobile (android) application and the Kill Switch not engaging properly. Even after reaching out to support, the response I received is that the application is functioning normally. I primarily use this service for secure use over public WiFi hotspots, and the Kill Switch not engaging properly is discouraging. The secondary use is Netflix regional streaming, which is no longer possible. If I come across a better VPN option that meets these needs I will likely switch.

This is a great service that masks your internet traffic and makes it tough for people to snoop on your info. Some of thew reviews complain about speed. It is fair to complain if you don't know what you are buying, especially if you expect full speed encrypted internet. I get about 5MB/s down through my ISP and with the VPN on I get between 600-1,200 KB/s depending on time of day. You learn that you should only encrypt the data you want to hide and use unencrypted internet with all non-essential traffic. I run a NAS through the VPN and all my other computers run unencrypted. When I need to cloak my identity, I connect through the app, it is two clicks. LPT: You can boost your capacity by connecting to different VPN servers.

It meets my needs however I'd love to be able to turn it on easily at the router level or on other devices like roku, appletv, etc. I have a asus router, btw. I end up using my laptop for certain things that I'd prefer to use other devices for just because PIA is available on my laptop.

Like someone said, it just works. No matter which proxy i use i always get good speeds without disconnections.

I really love their service. However, I would like improvements on their apps, like support for Android TV, and making it a little more aesthetically pleasing. Other than that, they're very good.

Until PIA issues new IPs to circumvent the Netflix ban on VPNs, my review will remain at 1 stars. This is unacceptable for a leader in the industry (former leader, now). Due to PIA nonsensical policies around this, my security and privacy is now compromised. I am U.S.-based user who can no longer watch netflix with PIA vpn. I WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION.
