I've been using PIA for a few years and can't fault the service, I use OpenVPN on my Asus router, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac, good price, reasonable speeds and plenty of locations to choose from.

There are only a couple things that keep me from giving them 5 stars. The service, overall, has been hassle free. They provide exactly what I want for a very fair price, and relatively hassle-free. Here are my only complaints: 1) They put out a beta of a Linux client a couple years ago, but it has largely been abandoned. It would be nice if that was a higher priority. (You can still use their service on Linux with OpenVPN, but I like the convenience and features of the dedicated client software). 2) Port forwarding is only available at a few nodes, and it seems to work only intermittently.

I've been a subscriber for a couple of years now and initially, it was everything I was looking for in a VPN. Things have recently changed. It no longer allows you to access all the sites it used to which leads me to believe that the promise of being able to browse anonymously is no longer accurate. Moreiver, my recent experience with customer support has been rather underwhelming. The support team used to be much friendlier and now they are bordering on condescending. They never end conversations properly or ask if you need further assistance and are left with the impression that you are just another annoying customer whose silly inquiries need to be addressed immediately so as not to hinder their customer service metrics. Unfortunately, my subscription was renewed just prior to all these unsatisfactory experiences. Rest assured, I will no longer be renewing my subscription next year.

I have used PrivateInternetAccess for several years and am very pleased with it. This service provider is an industry leader in privacy and has excelled at giving a superior experience. Once you find the fastest connection for you (using speed test) you get very close to full speed of your connection, unlike many other VPN providers!
