Service: OK Support: Horror Meine ursprüngliche Intention war es nach 8 Tagen Mitgliedschaft meinen Plan auf 3 Jahre zu upgraden. Da ich einen Tag über deren 7 Tage Rückerstattungsfrist war, hat der Support mir eine Erstattung zwecks Upgrade (was ich auch so mitteilte), verweigert. Nachdem ich mein Gemüt erläuterte und dies hinterfragte, wurde mir versichert, dass das Ganze an den jeweiligen Vorgesetzten eskaliert würde. Bis dato habe ich seit mehreren Tagen keine Antwort mehr erhalten. Ich habe bereits den Zahlungsanbieter zwecks einer Rückerstattung kontaktiert.

Its cheap, fast , allows torrents , fast and great customer service, and most importantly has a good reputation if i have anything to say is don't pay with pay pal if you decide you might want to switch later its kinda hard to switch off of pay pal so I would personally just stick with the credit card payment method for more flexibility
i’ve never had any problem with PIA. When I accidentally canceled them and needed to re-activate my account the customer service was phenomenal. He went back-and-forth with me until it was handled. Great company! Great customer service!
Let's start by saying the one star is not for the actual VPN service, which has worked fine for the 4 years we have been using PIA. However the reason for the one star is the way in which their payment system is set-up and the poor customer service, so read this and you should not have a problem with the service and be out of pocket. If you sign up for an account with a monthly subscription, then change your payment process (ie credit card to Paypal) which I did and paid annually to save money, this then creates a duplicate account, taking your money, whilst still keeping the old subscription and payment running. I am the fool for not checking bank statements ever - but beware you will be billed twice for the same service (the paypal payment automatically creates another account without you knowing). This then leads to the other reason for the one star, which is the customer support. I assumed due to the payment system error that a refund would be issued for the double payments that had been taken, but oh how wrong was I! When explaining the fault with the PIA system I was told that their payment processor STRIPE is set-up to do this intentionally! I do not know why this is and they do not inform you that this is the case. Only by reviewing bank statements can you see the duplicate payments, by which time you’ve lost out. I’m sure a customer service agent will respond below outlining terms and conditions and how they are not responsible, which will give you a little clue to the way they conduct themselves. So I hope I've explained this clearly and you find this useful, and if you take note of the above you will be fine using the actual PIA VPN (just don’t expect any customer service!).
