This company looks more like they want to gain there firm and sells rather then changing something beautiful in the world. There Linux "App" is still in beta after 3 years of development, i even think that a better version of something near a Linux terminal based client is created by the users them self which is great btw, but come on. Honestly if you use don't use Ubuntu with an Desktop Environment, you should properly seek your luck somewhere else. Trust them with what you see and read.. there are no true anonymity online, and this firm is a fact on that. Use tor or get comfortable with another service.
Coming from a different VPN with speed and connection issues, PIA was very nice.
I purchased the Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN for an Android 5.1 Lollipop KODI box. My IT experience is basic but I can work my way around computers. I had difficulty installing the VPN on the Android KODI device so I chatted with PIA's technical support on 2 separate occasions. Both agents gave me the same "canned" answer stating some Android devices are not supported by PIA. However I am aware that the newer Android devices such as mine have a security entry for VPN and is supported. Since the technical reps on the chat were of no help to me, I went to your "FAQ" which explained how to install it in detail - I was appalled that your technical reps were unfamiliar with your site and could not direct me there - instead they suggested putting the VPN on my router. After following your "FAQ" detailed directions, the VPN was installed with no problems. As far as the product goes, it works fine. Thanks.
Simple to setup, with great documentation. Still able to saturate my download bandwidth and haven't notices any impact on my connection. The only problem I've experienced is that Hulu and other services block the VPNs IP.s, but that's not the fault of the service.
The service is good, but billing unjustly flagged my payment. It took 8 hours for me to renew my subscription.
So far, so good, and competitively priced - especially the annual package. The Kill Switch adds an extra layer of security and speeds seem fine, so very happy.
Very helpful staff and great service. Installed on my Ipad and on my 2 other home PCs and like that I can add up to 5 devices. The price is reasonable too. I give a 5 stars. Thanks PIA
Excellent speed now (much better than a year ago). No logs. Safe and more than a dozen of servers to choose from. 1 star off due to the limited iOS app but it's still really good.
Tried to explain to them that if it doesn't work sometimes, which they admitted to, how am I supposed to trust it? They didn't answer that question.
PIA is a very good VPN that I have used for several years without any issues: speeds that routinely max out my internet connection and good customer service. However, their refusal to even try to circumvent the Netflix block means that they lose quite a lot of value and there are now other providers that give better value for money.
