I should have done more research on this company because their services are terrible.....i am not very computer savvy and didn't fully understand the instillation process....i contacted their service team by submitting a support ticket and have yet to get a response...this is very frustrating and as a result I submitted a support ticket to get a refund...i refuse to pay for anything I'm unable to use or get help to use....find another VPN provider!!!
Was doubtful about vpn. However joining private internet access cleared all my doubts. Easy to install, very reasonably priced with great customer service. Most important no great adverse effects to download and upload speeds. Would definitely recommend this company to all.
The VPN was easy to set up but didn't work for my purposes (I wanted to access a US-only web site). PIA offers a 7-day refund policy, but they did not respond to my several refund requests to cancel until I opened a dispute with them on PayPal.
Perfect. User friendly, and does exactly what it's meant to. No complaints here.
Customer support seems to be non existent. The VPN software they provide is badly coded and cannot be trusted. Even when you do manage a stable connection the speeds are horrible and most of their IP's are blacklisted, causing issues with numerous popular sites and mail providers. After searching through their support center I found an article detailing the refund process, which states refunds must be requested by ticket, but seeing as no one seems to be answering these tickets, I don't think I'll even be getting a refund.
Windows client worked flawlessly but Linux client did not and still does not. I opened a support request but haven't heard back yet but I've found an alternative method using a script they provide to use openVPN and that works fine. My connections have been reliable and quick. Thank you.
I am outside of USA. For the first 2 weeks PIA was working great. A week ago I could not connect anymore I would get a message Check credentials, password or ID incorrect. I changed my password several times. I still could not get connected. There is no place to check credentials. I wrote 6 or 7 letters asking for support. I got one answer that simply told me to change my password. I am still not able to connect. It seems that it takes a lot of time to get support and when you get it it does not help. It is extremely frustrating!!!!
Works well. Takes some getting used to but once you work out the kinks it's powerful but not obstrusive.
The app is useless for me. i bought it and i cant use it because my anonymity was just 20% while normal VPN out there are at least 50 to 70%. This is a greatest fraud of all the time.
Joined as a new member and had a few specific problem and opened 2 tickets and received no response for yet and 4 days have passed. I also received an email welcoming and asking me to reply if l had any issues. Clicked reply and had to open a ticket and still no reply. Cancelled as you are unable to call or chat with anyone. Simple service and cheap for a reason.
