Hi, I’d like to ask you what info can be seen by website owners when using your VPN? For example, if I’m signed in to my user account on my PC and I’m using Microsoft Edge browser is it possible for websites to still see my user account info, even though I’m using your VPN?

I bought PROTONVPN just yesterday but first I removed the previous paraplegic VPN I had. My first impressions are optimistic,it is about for a very good product. I'll be back soon with a more detailed review.

nope. tried this. OK for 2 days then upgrade, upgrade, upgrade and no connection. so I uninstalled it, only to find they had left me little presents along the way. irritating. you don't want these people anywhere near your computer.

I thought it was reasonable to choose a EuropeanVPN since I'm European .My choice were between PROTONVPN and CYBERGHOST VPN.To my great surprise,I found that PROTONVPN doesn't provide any information for the subscription related to activation, deactivation, order cancellation, refund and most importantly deactivation of automatic renewal.I couldn't find any such information and I wonder why. I don't know if EULA defines legal contracts in electronic or digital form entered into between a vendor and the user. What worries me is that PROTONVPN provides zero information about what I mentioned above.Communication with support will not solve the secret processes of PROTONVPN.The necessary information and the transparrent processes provide clear market between a vendor and the user.On the contrary it would be a cage with no room for escape.

I had used the free version of PROTONVPN for some time and for seven days the full version. My conclusions are ominous. Moderate speed, few locations but many servers. There were few but very serious issues with ProtonVPN. It was disconnected for a couple of times with simultaneous weaknesses of opening the webpages which led to the forced restart of the computer. When this happens, why do I need ProtonVPN? It offers the ''Basic Plan'' which is cheap but not fully functional with incomplete features, protection, efficiency and reliability. The ''Plus Plan'' is very expensive in terms of ProtonVPN reliability. The Support is indifferent, hostile and all that is needed is money. I don't recommend PROTONVPN to anyone on earth.

I started using ProtonVPN and ProtonMail because of a security requirement from my Freelance job wherein they suggested these services. Eventually I went for a paid combination plan (ProtonMail Plus bundled with VPN), it is not the cheapest you can get the same services from other providers for 50% the price, but I guess that's a price to pay for Proton's great reputation in the security and privacy sector. Also, their internet speeds are very great.

I've used a few VPNs over the years, and this is a fairly good one. It's not the fastest, nor the most stylish. What it does offer though is good security, and privacy, along with a decent price point. On my fastest server, I barely scrape past 100Mbps, often dipping below. For a lot of people this is plenty, but there are faster services (that are more expensive) available. I'd say the biggest selling point of this service is Proton. A company who are privacy focussed, and yet deliver good services despite that, all of which can be used for free and paid. I've also had no issues with reliability, or installation of ProtonVPN on Windows, Linux, Android, or IOS. Which is more than I could say for some other VPN services I've used. I've never had to contact ProtonVPN for support, but if they're the same as ProtonMail, it should be pretty good too.

Ive been using ProtonVPN Plus now for over two years I can say I am more than happy with this product. I use it both on my phone and on a number of desktops with ease. It may not be the fastest VPN on the market, or the cheapest, but that is not what Proton focus on. ProtonVPN is all about privacy, not getting access to the latest streaming service!!! With the company based in Switzerland (how cool is that) you cant go wrong. The Proton Project has always been about protecting individual rights to freedom and privacy which is why, I guess, the Russian Government banned their sister company ProtonMail in 2019. Customer support has always been first rate, as you would expect with a Swiss company. If you are looking for ultimate privacy protection then look no further

Fast like a turtle, unstable, often disconnects causing complete collapse of the Internet, dubious protection, support that disregards and despises.
