I am really happy with the app for iPad/iPhone. It works smoothly and better than other VPNs I tried. I mainly use the Netherlands server. The software for Mac Os X is terrible. I installed/deleted it many times, rebooted my iMac etc. I now ended up with two PIA icons in my top left bar. The dashboard looks not very fancy and it is difficult to read whether the VPN is working or not. To me, it's difficult to understand why a company which such a nice app, is not able to create nice and smooth working software for Mac. Other downside on the PIA services: you don't have a free trial period. That's very customer unfriendly. I now already bought an account for a year...

I'm satisfied to an extent with your services but I'll like to inform you to upgrade your services please cos some of the servers are blacklisted alright. Kindly undergo some maintenance and fix this. I love the app and have been using it for a long time and could gladly recommend it to anyone who needs a VPN.

I have used a good amount of the other providers' VPN services for a while, and just started using PIA. Honestly anyone who has issues with the software incompatibility/etc. either does not know what they are paying for, or does not know what they are doing 100% of the time. It works perfectly, and I can access any site I need, including Netflix (appears to trouble some). I verified that the whole system is working, and it works perfectly. I have not had to deal with customer service, so i cannot comment on that, but from looking around, they seem ready to help at all times. Bad reviews for service I understand, but everyone who pays downloads the same software, if it does not work, it is not the company's fault, it is the end user most of the time (not always). The company should help if asked however, to just leave a bad review because it didn't work is immature. I recommend PIA and their translucent service to everyone.

OS: iOS and OSX (Yosemite) From what I have used? It is good. My iPhone connects and sometimes has issues (related to the service, unknown), but the software is quick and easy to install and use. My OSX install was simple and easy to use as well. The service itself has been mostly without issues. Again, the few times I did have issues I could not relate it to either PIA or my own ISP. I have only used PIA for VPN thus far. I do not VPN for Netflix or any service. I have NOT yet tried using PIA for proxy, but I will in the future. Pricing is fair as far as I can tell, but I joined due to a promotion.

The best VPN I have ever used. Another well known VPN really slowed down internet speed, frequently 'forgot' I paid for ELITE status, and problem resolution took about 24 hours on average. Private Internet Access was easy to install and works great. Cannot tell you about customer service because I have not had any issues so have not even tried to contact them. PIA is perfect for me.

Constant problems with buggy software. Only advice from tech support was that I had to reboot regularly to keep their software working. Very annoying as a laptop user, I expect modern software to work with Windows standby and sleep modes; theirs does not. Billing was a nightmare. Got billed doubly, in tandem, for a single account. Months to resolve the problem. Never again. Horrible experience from start to finish.

I can not use PIA and Netflix at the same time. Knowledgebase Article 143 does not apply because I am in the US, opening a tunnel to the US (heck, Texas to Texas, about 60 miles away). Yes, Netflix is actively blocking known VPNs, but PIA is experiencing less success than their competitors in this regard. Their own staff on their own forums say that it works, but it does not. privateinternetaccess forum discussion comment 23911 I should not have to choose between privacy and Netflix - and PIA should have disclosed when I signed up last week that this did not work! Shame on PIA. **UPDATE** I contacted the helpdesk as requested by "Owen E" in the PIA reply to this review and outlined the problem, telling them I needed either the service to work or a refund. No trouble shooting, just refund. Apparently (despite lip service to the contrary), they have no intentions of making their service work with Netflix (even using a local tunnel, not trying to bypass any geo-location). A shame, really. When I mentioned this, they referred me to Knowledgebase Article 143 (which I opened my request with, mentioning it does not apply - I am in the location my tunnel is opened to). I want to maintain privacy of my home network, and also watch Netflix at the same time. Customer service is robotic in terms of responding to this need --- it doesn't care.

This VPN is a rock solid one. I test the speed several times a day and god its rocking. Almost the same speed! I tried the month and now subscribed for a year! Love this .
