Absolutely disgraceful service. Help desk completely unhelpful. How many times do I have to tell the same story to several different "technicians" Then they close the case because I haven't responded. When the truth is the unhelpful desk wasn't opening the emails replies I sent. Now seven days are up so I can't get a refund, help desk now completely ignoring my emails. Don't use PIA. If you don't get your Account activation emails you have done your money and the help desk is of no use.

This VPN service is "the" best I've ever had. No exaggeration here. By selecting the right country, the internet speeds suffer from very little loss of speed. (Which is to be expected when using an anonymous VPN service) The encryption levels can be customized, I've set them @ their highest levels, (AES-256, SHA256, RSA-4096), and internet speeds are still high. Which is very good. Don't expect anyone eavesdropping on you here! The customization is something I find very useful. For example, you can set-up the application in such a way It'll automatically close your internet connection if the app stops running for some reason. You can also activate "DNS Leak Protection" which prevents leaking DNS queries while on the VPN. Another one is "IPv6 Leak Protection". As the name suggests, it disables IPv6 when using the VPN. All useful. To finish, this program is simple, fast, cheap, reliable and secure. I recommend to anyone who needs one. ;)

I've tested a lot of VPNs ...HMA, Ipvanish ,surfeasy, cyberghot..And the most complete, less expensive and best the value for money is clearly PIA. Keep up the good work lads.

I had been using pia for about ten months and had fairly good result on occasion there would be a connection problem or a drop, connection while on line ,this happens. the bad thing about pia is there is no phone support ,so if you have a major issue the tech support will try to assist you. They may want you to go into your computer ,networking and make a lot of changes to attempt to correct your issue, This vpn is not for those who are not tech savy if there is a serious issue.Tech support will try to help but if they can not resolve it ,they say your ticket aka complaint will be sent to tier two tech support. And that is where you are on your own to fix the clunker. Because they no longer will respond to your problem even after several attemps to have them help you. And the sales dept ignores you when you report issues as described above.Over all I would give the service a C-

I have been using vpn's for about three years i was connected to one called cyberghost some ghost and within 6 months i had received 2 nasty letters i discontined using cyberghost my son put me onto PIA best thing i ever done have just sighed up for 12 months,and so far-no letters

I've reviewed and used multiple VPN services as I was shopping around and ended up staying with PIA. The reason I stayed is because of the performance speed and privacy features. It has been the fastest and I like the privacy features. The reason for a four is the frustrating lack in features specifically with the iOS and MAC OS client. I use the VPN service on multiple devices and in many different networks. Because I've used many different VPNs I know that many features are lacking with the client application. I'd like to see a clear indicator when connection is established or when the client is still "connecting" on MAC OS. I had begun browsing before the connection had been established in an environment that was logging all my use. On the iOS i would like to see a feature that brings a widget with VPN connection details and a quick way of connecting/disconnecting the service without having to launch the application. There's other useful features and settings that other VPNs are using that would significantly improve the experience.
