I had high hopes for this VPN given its glowing reviews. I was sorely disappointed. The software installed fine, but the installation instructions were somewhat lacking. For instance, there was no mention of having to restart one's browser before the VPN would be active for that browser. At least I had to restart my browser. Next, the VPN stopped working after my Windows 10 laptop went to sleep. After it stopped working, it couldn't even connect, so Support had me re-install it. Then it was ok for a bit, but the next morning I had pop up messages that indicated the TAP driver was defective - the one I had just installed. I walked away from it, came back hours later, and the popups were gone. Now Support tells me that I need to stop the service and re-start it if the laptop is going to go to sleep! Really? Every time? To me that's useless software. After several days of back and forth I gave up and asked for a cancellation and refund. They wouldn't cancel and refund unless I dug out the order number from one of at least 4 confirmation notices (really, do you need 4 different confirmation emails?). Seriously, they've got my account information based on my email address, so why do they need the order number. I had deleted the email with the order number, but luckily it was still in my Trash folder.
I needed a quick and easy VPN and this works perfectly, even for public places like Starbucks and wherever!! Thanks guys!
Great, cheap, fast, endpoint in every country... 90 ms to NL endpoint from eastern canada. 30mbit down / 10 up no problem. SOCKS5 Proxy works perfectly, torrents work at max speed. Only issue is I hate the client, you cant switch endpoints while connected but more than that it just seems chintsy with few options. They offer generic pptp l2tp and openvpn though.
