Being new to VPN use I was not sure how difficult it would be to set up. PIA made the process relatively simple and support for my questions about installation was there when needed in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend PIA to anyone looking for this service.
This is a great VPN very easy to use
Quick connection, simple interface & plenty of servers - does what its meant to do very wrll. . I'm also using it on iPhone, iPad, iMac & Mabook Air from a single subscription so great value. Would recommend PIA.
Very good service, would recommend. Gets a bit iffy when waking from sleep on macOS, and when switching between a poor wifi network and data on android marshmallow.
I have enjoyed PIA for more than a year and am happy to renew.
Connections seem to halve connection speeds, however the reliability of the their servers are top notch.
I recently switched from another service (ZM) mainly due to their complete lack of timely support (4 days?). My rating for PIA will instantly move from a 4 to a 5 the first time I run into a problem and they help in a timely manner. Otherwise, speeds are good, and I feel safe/
I also use HMA, but nearing end of contract and wanted to switch over to PIA due to their commitment of no IP logs. So during this overlap I could compare. I have compared in four different countries so far, many times in two particular countries, and it's always the case that my torrent speeds are much slower than HMA (actually compared torrents only in 3 countries as HMA won't torrent in US). Particularly the upload speeds are especially slow. I'd say on average torrent speeds are 20-30% of what I get on HMA. Well, I'll continue with PIA as I signed up for one year. And at least I haven't experienced a drop yet.
I do not agree with being "asked" to review services. If I am moved to do so by the actual performance of the service/support of the company, then I will do so. I also understand that our society demands this in order to be a viable entity in any capacity. Yet it still feels somewhat forced and therefore not genuine. That being said, I have only used this service for less than a week and it is performing as expected. We had some issues initially getting the service to jump countries but a reboot seemed to have remedied it. I also like the simplicity of the interface, especially on the mobile side. I have not yet explored the advanced features. I am hopeful that they allow truly advanced users the flexibility to use this service in ways that are useful to each user's needs. From what I have seen thus far & compared to other similar services I have used/use, it has met my expectations.
So far, so good. This is the first VPN I have used and it seems to work as promised. I'm happy.
