The people are very nice, installed software very easy. Entered user and password. Then chose and IP to use. " Server Not Found " tried another IP, Server not found. But PIA says connected, I was trying Facebook and Google pretty sure their site was up. But disconnected PIA and they were fine, turned it back on, SERVER NOT FOUND, the software is no help in determining why ? And support was sure it was the sites. Facebook and Google down same time, maybe if a Meteor struck. But very unlikely, I wanted to like this software, but its buggy and not intuitive. Apparently also not intuitive enough for support to know the cause.
Great and easy to use. I'm always recommending to all my family and friends.
The software was easy to download and easy to understand the tools and how it works.
Has many VPN servers, great price, great service and great app support. Don't have anything bad to say about PIA

download speed is significantly slower when I setup and use PIA on router. speed reduced by 80% not the 10-15% stated.
I was able to install on my android, windows, and Linux machine with no problem. I have no doubt that the encryption service does work. The issue I have is: I can be plugged directly to my router and with the VPN disabled my speed is 265 MB/s download. When the VPN enables my speed drops to 65 MB/s download. I have read from Private Internet Access website that it should only decrease speed to about 10%-15%, not a 75%. I have yet to be able to get it to run at a higher speed.
Had trouble uninstalling/reinstalling PIA on my Mac asked a question to the support people. they e-mailed me a reply with in a hour. Had more trouble e-mailed them back they answered me right back solved my troubles. kudos to the people that work there vary well satisfied with the support. Thanks you Bob
As I stated before, when I tried making PIA compatible with my Fire TV, and tried to Get Technical Help, trying to that was a Total Lost Cause - Service Really Sucked Bad !! Hey this is 2018 for cryin' Out Loud !! That's Why I left Right Away !! Maybe you'll use this as Effective Criticism ?
I just switched from one of the larger more expensive VPN providers to Private Internet Access. My reasons are their donations to various Open Source projects and standing firmly by their privacy policies. Speed has been very good. Easy to connect/disconnect on mobile app; and I like the tray settings in desktop environment. Only small gripe is of a challenge to change desktop server. Thank you
