I have been using this PIA VPN service on various platfroms such as Linux(Ubuntu), W10, Android and on IOS: it did'nt let me down. Works fast and without any trouble. First time paying for a VPN service and I can say that it's worth it.

Only had a short time, but seems to be working as it should. I had tried free vpn before, but degradation of performance made it useless. I barely notice this. As other have noted, I initially had some problems with conflict with my anti-virus, but customer service got me through that. Also some financial and other sites took some steps to confirm it was me trying to log in, but I guess this means it works. I would be a good idea to have a link with instructions for the most popular anti-virus programs to advise new users what they need to do to avoid conflicts before they install the vpn.

We've only been using this for two days. It was very easy to "learn" and configure and is straightforward to use. Had some problems with my anti-virus inhibiting it - but tech support was surprisingly fast and right-on helpful. Even with my limited experience thus far - this company is great to do business with.

Well, I have been using the service on mobile (phone and tablet) and desktop. iOS and Linux with no issues. It is early days as I have only been using the service for a week. Important points.. a) You can select any country but you need to be careful b) Linkedin, Social Media, banks check your location and you can have problems with extra security challenges Am really happy I started using this service - privacy is yours to protect

I have been using this service for over 6 years. I appreciate the seemlessness of its updates and have experienced only one period of brief downtime a few years back. I wish the company had a more active role in speaking to its customers en masse. Updates on how you are keeping my account, identity and traffic secure would be welcomed. Understanding how and why a service works gives me a greater peace of mind but that much I can get without PIA supports insight. However, I don't know how they are upgrading in order to keep their promise to me about my information.

Terrible service. I purchased one year's worth of usage in 2017. I was aware that it is a subscription-based membership and payed the following year. Following this, I have literally been unable to access my account for about a year. Due to my non-use I started using another VPN service - Trust.Zone (which I 100% recommend as an alternative to this service) and subsequently forgot that this was a subscription-based membership. Yesterday I got charged the full $39.95 for another year's worth of service, despite me not having used this for at least a year and having no intention to use it at all in the upcoming 364 days. I contacted customer support to explain all of the above and how I do not believe I should've been charged $39.95 for something I will not use at all, and their response sums up to "well it sounds like it sucks to be you". There was no courtesy email or notification that my subscription was nearing renewal, if I had received such a message I would have promptly cancelled my subscription before the charge date! This is unbelievable! At the very least they should have notified me that I was about to be charged, instead of telling me the day after that it was too late and my $40 is gone. I feel so absolutely cheated out of my money. This is a terrible VPN service and if you're looking for a much more honest and better VPN service in all possible ways I urge you to try Trust.Zone, and they offer a completely free trial membership so try that before you think of purchasing from this company!
