Recent revisions have really made NordVPN easier to use and more reliable. I've noticed big differences in download/upload speeds and hesitating performance in speed while using different NordVPN servers, but some of the speed variation is caused by my ISP. I like the fact that I can test the internet speeds comparing different NordVPN servers and select most reliable "favorites" and have NordVPN automatically log in to the favorite servers upon booting the PC. Some websites will block VPN services (as Amazon used to do, but no longer does), so having the recently added property of 'pausing' the VPN service makes it much easier to quickly access those websites and return quickly to VPN. I used to use another highly rated VPN service, but comparatively NordVPN has more service options, more servers available and much more consistent internet performance. I've taken advantage of special price offerings from NordVPN to extend my subscription until 2025. I have become almost paranoid about internet privacy because I don't know enough to know who might be 'watching' me or who might be trying to 'track' my activities for advertising or other purposes. So I appreciate the fact that the NordVPN service can hide my IP address so well. I get far fewer of those nuisance warnings from phony 'microsoft' repair services flashing my IP address and claiming to be able to repair my PC for me. (It's a real scam so don't ever respond if it happens to you). The one downside is that websites see my geographical location as the servers location and not my actual location, but that's fine by me. If I need accurate weather, news, etc I can always search for my actual location using actual zip codes. Some retail websites will have problems finding your 'local' store (Best Buy, etc) if you're purchasing online, but again you can always plug in your zip code in the search for local stores. That is not a problem for the sake of the anonymity offered by VPN use. Lastly, I appreciate the fact the NordVPN does not log my activity on the internet so no one can find my activity for advertising or nefarious purposes. Nor can anyone hack into my activity to read passwords, to read financial transaction activity because I use NordVPN on both my PC and the NordVPN app on my mobile phone. So my web activity is protected from viewing by hackers even in notoriously open "free wi-fi" locations using wi-fi routers that are not protected.

Have had Nord Vpn since 2017. Takes the worry out of todays internet problems. The techs are friendly and quick to respond and problems or questions are dealt with professionally. No blame game, just solutions. Easy to use vpn and I use it on a variety of operating systems. I worked in telecom as a system engineer/tech for 30+ yrs. To me Nord Vpn is solid and recommend it to all users.
