I have payed for this service , but it doesn't even work , not good at sll
In my time using it I feel more free to visit web sites, no records are kept and is excellent!
After looking at many vpn service I decided Private Internet Access. Right choice. Simple and easy to use. No problem.
Been with Private Internet Access for years. As far as VPNs go, I won't go with anyone else. The speed for the price is untouchable. However, I'm only able to connect to a VPN IP about half of the time since they go down so often. At least half of the IPs on my location choices don't ever work. It's not really that big of a deal, because they give you alot of other IP/countries to choose from in the mean time while that IP is down. Also, eventually that IP will be available again, or during the next update you'll have the option for a new IP for that area. Generally speaking though, once you find an IP that you can connect to, you'll be able to use it for a long time. It is a bit annoying sometimes to not be able to connect to the Dallas server, and have to choose one states away (increases lag and ping). On the other hand, their servers (even with the far distance to the IP) are some of the fastest speeds I've ever had through a VPN service. *NOTE* Hiding behind a VPN doesn't guarantee anonymity, so be careful, ESPECIALLY with this new CISPA crap that the U.S. just passed. It's suggested to not only use a VPN, but purchase a VPS and then do your work through that. Ever layer of protection decreases changes of hackers or information being leaked to Big Brother.
I only recently signed up with PIA but the few times I needed assistance, their customer service is top notch. There might be a little wait at times but to me that's assurance when it is your turn, they will pay attention to your problem until it is solved. Plus my internet speed is not any slower with PIA turned on.
Like many people concerned about their online privacy, I've tried several VPN service providers. Unfortunately, my download/upload speeds were drastically impacted, often making use a VPN too much of a hinderance. Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN service doesn't seem to have any of the latency issues other VPN service providers seem to suffer. Of course, using any VPN service comes with a certain amount of latency, but I've been really surprised by PIA's consistently fast speeds; additionally, the price point for an annual subscription, which supports up to 5 simultaneous clients, is pretty awesome. I have recommended this service to family, friends and colleagues.
Been a member for 6mths now on a renewing monthly account, was an experiment to see how well this worked. Just upgraded to an annual account, very pleased. Easy to use and consistently does what it is supposed to. Thanks!
I've been a member for over a year and never had an issue with the service or customer service.
Tried many such services. Sticking to this one. One account provides protection for all my devices. Great customer service including always-available online chat support. Tech support has always been quick to respond, efficient and effective in responding to the few security configuration queries I've made over the past two years. Zero outages or failures during that time. Top notch service. Highly recommended.
I have been a 2-year customer with Private Internet Access and all I can say is that it does a fantastic job enabling your devices to be private online and having connections encrypted well above standard. The best thing about this service is their promise of no logs of identifying information that can be pinpointed to a user. They make you anonymous and you can have trust in them, as they also advocate for privacy online in the EFF. However, I've noticed that the android app for Private Internet Access is now barely at optimal speed, limiting connections to just 8-11 Mbps. You're lucky to even be able to get more than 20 Mbps on their Android app. It seems this problem started around Dec 2015 and hasn't been fixed yet. If you check the support forums, there are other reports of sluggish speeds. I've read elsewhere on PIA that a cause of the slow speed may have been PIA's transition to another hosting company, which offers less bandwidth than their previous hoster. I wish they would fix the problem sooner rather than later. Overall, I recommend Private Internet Access to anyone. They have a lot of servers and the service has been highly reliable every day year round.
