In just a few days I came convinced that the risk taken is well-worth. I took the 2-year offer after mixed experiences with other providers. PIA service was always up, with good speed, letting me download the data and videos I choose. It's highly recommended. My only little complain is that their Android app does not work on Kindle Fire (Open VPN for Android made the trick)
I'm new to vpn and was worried about loosing / dropping download speed from my internet 60 broadband. So far no problems there. I am seeing speeds as good as I was when not connected. The only thing is the ping is quite a bit higher but since online gaming is not one of my things not a problem.
Love it, only thing that I find kind of annoying is the generic name. Zero complaints about the actual service. It'd be nice if I didn't have to select the "I trust this VPN" everything in boot on Android, but I think this is the OS's fault. Maybe there's a workaround on rooted devices?
PIA is one of the best vpn services I have used. My connection is always persistent and fast. Sometimes I even get better speed results when I am connected via vpn vs when i'm not. If your looking for a rock solid vpn then look no further than PIA!
PIA worked well for a few months but eventually dropped down to abysmally low speeds. Also, the program will not fully uninstall; when you reinstall it remembers all your old info, so don't mess it up the first time. Although I like the lightweight design it doesn't seem to have consistency in its performance. Finally, PIA previously had a help line you could call. They have since done away with the service and are now forced to spend MUCH longer trying to type your issues back and forth with customer service. After 30 min of waiting, still no response from tech after initial hello message.

I had a little issue installing the VPN service on my laptop, but the support was great and it works perfectly now. No problem installing on my cell phone. I strongly recommend Private Internet Access !

Quick response, works right out of the box. And they support Linux, Android and a host of other platforms, not only Windows and Mac like so many others. :-D
