Positive: - Speed and performance. I hardly notice I'm connected to a VPN. - Price is very affordable. - Easy reliable client on Android and Windows. Haven't tested it on iOS. Negative: - OSX client usually works great but when closing the screen on my mbp or putting the computer to sleep/standby and resuming the client refuses to connect unless I restart the computer. This issue happens on El Capitan and is very frustrating. The only way to avoid this is to exit the app before setting the computer to sleep/standby.

I Purchased a one year subscription 3 days ago. Price was in line with the what I would expect to pay. Installation was easy on my iPhone, iPad, iMac and Macbook Air. Here's my experience with the product: 1) I could not stream Apple Music on my iPad or iPhone once I turned on the VPN software. I was using a public Cablevision Optimum wifi hotspot at my gym. Without the VPN everything worked fine. I was told to download and install OpenVPN, yet that did not change anything. Apple Music still would not stream until VPN was shut down. I contacted PIA Tech Support via online chat and they were easy to work with. They suggested the Open VPN route. 2) I could not download Outlook email to the mail program on my i-devices. Outlook recognized a different IP address and made me sign in to Outlook.com to verify my identity. Was not expecting to have to do this each and every time I turn on the VPN software. 3) I noticed very little if any slow down in speed when using the VPN. That's a good thing. 4) Certain email images will not load unless I turn off the VPN software. No idea why. 5) If you want this for web surfing I can't find any issues to report. It works as advertised. I'm not asking for a refund because I believe there is a need for a VPN to protect my privacy and keep sniffers out of my business. Its just that I expected a more seamless experience with using a VPN. Maybe my expectations are unrealistic, but I will be better informed as I use the product going forward. I looked at Hotspot Shield but decided against it after reading many reviews where PIA kept filtering to the top. Hotspot Shield would have been my second choice.

I've used it for over a year, on mobile and desktop devices (especially when on wi-fi on vacation, and on local wi-fi in coffeeshops, etc.). And have found it to work as desired. Whenever I had a billing or technical question, it was answered by the FAQ/Knowledgebase or by techsupport (chat or email). They also have custom configs for special cases (you need special ports because you are where some are blocked, etc.). Unlimited bandwidth and five devices for a fixed price a year, can't be beat.

I wanted to be invisible from and so far it seems to be all it said it was. I spent an hour or more searching for the vpn best suited for my needs and it seemed pia was the best option in Canada. seems to have a few issues,one, it's a bit slow on some servers and i in order to connect my roku i need to disconnect then connect roku then reconnect pia,no biggie but none the less a nuisance.There support team seems second to none as i had an issue with e-mail not being sent and within an couple hours i had a response,so yes in my case i would recommend this software

Four stars simply because I haven't been using PIA long enough to find any issues. After reading about the reporter who was hacked by the person sitting behind him on the airplane I decided it was time to do something to protect my Internet access over public networks. PIA was well reviewed, reasonably priced and seems to offer everything I needed. Installation was simple and straight forward on my Windows 10 laptop, iMac desktop and iPhone. I have not found any performance or access issues but then I am not a big user of video streaming sites like Netflix. I am very happy with this product and recommend it whenever I can.

This has been my first experience with a VPN and I would definitely recommend the service to others. Set-up is easy and straight forward. Speeds have been great. The only downside is that I am unable to use Netflix anymore from Canada with VPN on. As this is part of the reason why I went with VPN (amongst other needs/uses I have), I am unfortunately cancelling once my membership is up in two weeks. Will definitely go back if this issue is resolved.

Installation was simple, It's easy to understand and use (I am not a tech person in the slightest). I have noticed my internet has gotten a little slower, that is my reasoning for 4 out of 5 stars. Overall good product for price and quality. I have been using it for a short time now, if any future problems/issues/events do pop up, I will note them down in here for everyone.

Fast and simple to set up just have your user name and password engage with different country the problem with a VPN service is it can get bored just like my school I can not use Internet access to browse the web security
