The software is easy to use. The network is fast and it doesn't cost a ton of money. It works exactly like it should.
Private Internet access is a great VPN ! If your a Linux user, take the time to download the extra encryption .crt files so you can run a higher encryption then the default settings which are pretty low and outdated. I recommend running 4096 Cipher AES-256-CBC and HMAC SHA-256 make sure in OpenVPN you check use custom gateway Port 1197 for the higher encryption setting I also put in my MTU setting 1492 for most DSL, you don't have to do this but I think it helps on large downloads.
I've been with PIA for about two years now and I must say that the service has been pretty good. Great connection speed and lots of servers to chose from. I was struggling with constant disconnects about 6 months ago (especially while using Steam) but they've recently fixed that. Great value and top notch VPN service.
No significant speed changes, which is good. Not noticed any disconnects.

I used to use the VPN service mainly to access the BBC iPlayer service. The ability to do this is advertised on their web page, however it seldom works any more. PIA have now stated they no longer support it. If you are looking for a VPN for reasons other than circumventing geoblocking, then PIA is great, but they should not advertise a service that they cannot provide.
Very happy with it. Software works well, info is pretty easy to find and if you're ever unhappy, the cancellation button is right on top of the user menu.
Ever since the start, PIA has been open and honest and reliable. Love the company and service, would recommend it to anyone!
It works fine here in the UAE. I'm not a complete novice with IT but I can't say I know much about networking. When it comes to setting up things like routers, proxies and what not, all I know how to do is follow instructions. In this regard Private Internet Access was easy to set up and update when necessary and his worked very well. The only think I would like is some uncomplicated way to use it with Apple TV.
Would give 5 stars but I'm on the yearly auto renew and would have had to cancel my account to get the multi year discount, PITA to reconfigure all my devices and router. Had a couple issues with sites not liking my IP, told them my security is more important than their attitude. Highly recommend.
