Some highlights: 1. works on all devices (I use OS X and Android) 2. can download openVPN profiles. This means I can run it alongside my corp VPN: no need for separate app. 3.Fast speeds, never had an issue. SOmetimes I even use it when the insecure connection is slow. Don't ask me why that works. 4. Blocking is very rare, and often frees up if change server locations. THe only downside is probably a plus for most people: no static IP. (but that's why we have a corp VPN.)

My title about sums up what PIA means to me. It works, it's inexpensive (so I don't mind buying for others in the family), obviously secure and is the fastest VPN solution I've used yet. Can't undervalue fast, especially when I'm traveling overseas and logging in to servers in multiple other countries (and back home too). Yes, any VPN adds overhead to create a secure tunnel, but PIA seems to maximize that tunnel so I rarely experience slowness. Best solution out there IMHO and they don't keep logs either, a big deal when intelligence agencies, repressive governments, and bad actors are constantly trying to infiltrate our privacy.

Having used PIA for several years now, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to watch foreign tv by way of the internet and not have any restrictions in terms of country specific shows. It also hides your location for social network access. Just great. Doesn't slow down internet speed by much, sometimes not at all.

Great service, good speeds, and I like that they accept Bitcoin payment. When I attempted to update my VPN client I saw a drastic speed reduction down to 5-10kbps. I contacted support which gave me this long canned troubleshooting list none of which solved my problem. Only by reverting to an earlier snapshot (VMware) was I able to get back to normal speeds.

When PIA works, it's fine. Most of the time it slows the internet down so that any downloading becomes laborious but I do that on a side-net book so it doesn't disturb me as much. Some times it's so slow the computer crashes. Quite a few times over the past few weeks, I keep checking to see if the 'robot' is green so PIA is ON, but I am double checking with whatsmyip.org and altho PIA is showing GREEN, whatsmyip and other IP addy checkers are showing I am NOT VPN connected. So over time this is becoming not only unreliable, but slows the internet down too much to use. I called a few weeks ago and the agent reported that I shouldn't connect "auto" but choose the resource closest to me. Truly, I'd prefer to be able to chose an addy that was not in my neighborhood for this to work = 0 I will be shopping for a new service if I get these same problems over the next few weeks. Didn't used to happen and I've had PIA a few years.

Private Internet Access used to be an excellent service. Then suddenly, a few days ago, it stopped working for Netflix. I got into your help chat service, and asked if anything was being done. Your helpline person informed me that nothing would be done, and that I would need to make up my mind how to proceed. So I'm proceeding by cancelling this service, and going with one of the other companies that meets my needs. Thanks for all the hours of Netflix we were able to enjoy through you. And it's a shame you're not going to continue supporting the service I signed up with you for. All the best. Blue skies Roy

I spent a lot of time researching which VPN I wanted to use and have been completely satisfied with PIA. I travel a lot for work and regularly use PIA on my laptop and iPad when on insecure hotel networks with no problems at all. I have also used it for geo-unlocking particularly when I've been in the US and wanted to watch something on BBC iPlayer (I'm from the UK), Sky, UK Netflix, etc. (I understand Netflix have now prevented this, but other services should still be OK)

I have PIA installed on an android phone, Mac, and Ubuntu linux. Takes minutes to set up--the one problem I had was resolved thanks to their great customer service. One in a while, I won't be able to get online when the PIA icon is lit on my Mac. Usually, I'll just disconnect and a reconnect a few minutes later with no trouble. Not sure why; hasn't stopped me from being a customer for more than two years.

The quality of the service is still good but it used to be better. Download Speed, Latency. It has become more inconsistent. It's still good two thirds of the time, however problems occur often enough that you are constantly reminded about the issue. It wasn't always like this.

PIA is my go-to VPN service. It's very simple to use... you just install it, enter your credentials, and you're ready to go.
