The only problem I have with VPN is not their fault, it's Microsoft. Normally I use Ubuntu most of the time. I had no trouble installing or using VPN. However when attempting to install in Windows 10 I discover there are a total of 21 different steps you have to go through. Even then it may not work. The only solution I have found is not to use Windows.
I travel a lot for work and hotels have awful internet security. I've been using PIA for several years now to help protect myself and readily recommend it to all of my coworkers.

To the people who are complaining however about netflix blocking PIA IP addresses, that's an issue you should raise with Netflix, perhaps if they get enough reasonable complaints they would try to do something about it. Netflix has been forced to block those addresses for copyright reasons though and if there is not enough level-headed complaints made by users that Netflix could use as support why would they bother to combat being forced to block VPN addresses? Email Netflix, email the copyright corporations, and email the production companies of work you like urging them to provide it overseas. Don't stop there though, email the people within your country who have the copyright licensing of that produced item. If someone in your country holds that license they can sit on it and twiddle their thumbs however they want. I haven't used PIA for Netflix as I live in the US but I do use it daily as a precaution for Internet usage from my community college campus. It's nice to know my traffic for shopping, to my home computers, or banking information has some form of added protection from traffic sniffers when on the campus network. I also use PIA from home to protect my privacy- although it probably doesn't do much I think we should value our slowly eroding digital privacy as much as we can and as such use services that provide it to us when possible. I expect reasonable privacy in my home, and I expect some level of privacy online as well. PIA is one of many tools to help provide me with a small level of privacy that I believe should be a normal part of digital life.
I have been using PIA for over a year and have found them to be extremely reliable and fast enough to stream HD Video. I highly recommend.
Good speed, good latency, plenty of server locations, and a great price. The only gripe I have is that it doesn't seem to work with Netflix anymore, but I'm sure that's the fault of Netflix.
Excellent bandwidth, good latency. Only had maybe two momentary disconnects in over a year, and not even sure that was their fault (or my ISP). More than what you'd expect for the price!
I've had an account with PIA almost two years now and have been very happy with their services. One thing that's been a savior is the availability to connect via OpenVPN. The Windows client works great for users trying to use Microsoft Windows. Anyone else can use any OpenVPN capable client. An additional item that being OpenVPN capable provides is the availability to multi-VPN and allow traffic shaping through VPN provider(s). PIA ranks very high (if not top), in my opinion, when compared to other services in speed, ease of use, features, and up time. The entire time I've been with the company I have not seen any noticeable drops in service that I can attribute to the company or their implementation of VPN client. The only complaint I could raise is their lack of homegrown client for Linux and any reporting and metrics on your active VPN connection on your machines (would be a client integration). All in all, great service. I will continue to do business with them.

What's the point in having a VPN for anonymity if a fundamental aspect of my privacy, my location, can be bypassed so easily by an entertainment company of all people? PIA promises totally anonymity and fails to deliver. Simple as that. Until I find a better service, I'm stuck with them. The moment I find a VPN that actually cares and is willing to fight and tackle anti-VPN measures that are becoming more and more common on the web, I'm gone. Don't waste your money with a company that does not take its business seriously. If Netflix can get away with this while VPN companies such as PIA stand idle and complicit (see the comments their spokesperson made to TorrentFreak.com), then what is PIA's stance going to be when the government or major corporations put pressure on them.
