I've been using PIA for a few years now and it's been a solid investment. It sucks that Hulu and Netflix are now actively blocking VPNs, but there isn't anything PIA can do about it. I'll be cancelling my Netflix account instead of PIA. As for speeds, most of the time I can't tell the difference between using the VPN and not. And there are 20 more available locations than when I first joined. The few times I've had to use customer support, they've been very responsive. Everyone spoke perfect English and were polite without the aggravating scripted obsequiousness so prevalent in online support. The support staff seemed to understand networking and computers and were quickly able to identify the problem and offer a solution. As of March 2016, their commitment to customer privacy is unblemished. This is the company I recommend to anyone asking about a VPN.
This is a good service for the price. Sometimes slow to the point that I have to turn it off with some regular business sites I visit. Also it drops off my phone and has to be re-activated quite often. Otherwise I have been pleased with the performance and service. We use it in our company and recommend it to others. JRH
I thought the price was too good to be true, but it isn't. A wide variety of endpoints, clients for every OS and decent speeds make for a great experience.
I have used PIA for many years and it is so easy to use. I have a fast Internet and the servers match my speed no problem. I recommend it to everyone.
PIA has been a reliable service that I've been able to use on my desktops and on my mobile. It gives a variety of choices as to the exit point. The application is lite and minimal. There is a loss of speed when using the service but provides the privacy that is needed.
Product installed and worked well on Win10. Ran into a problem that when I reboot, PIA wouldn't work and I had to reinstall to get it to work. Working with 1st level support is as bad as any 1st level support I have ever worked with. Their answer was I needed to have admin rights on my account. I find that answer incredulous. If true (and I suspect its a 1st level support issue); then I would rate PIA a zero. PIA is designed to provide extra security when on the web. Having admin rights on an account is one of the worst mistakes anyone can ever make on any operating system. It opens you up to many more attacks than anything else - negating any benefits of PIA. You should only have admin rights for a specific task and then release those rights. Hope I'm wrong about PIA; but again, 1st level support doesn't give me any confidence. UPDATE: Nice to get canned answers from PIA, but actually its better to provide real answers and solutions. And despite multiple emails, PIA has been unable to provide real answers. Don't be faked out.

New to vpn but working good so far.
Scrolling through the reviews, it looks like the majority of people are dissatisfied because they were using it in ways PIA didn't really intend it to be used--namely, getting around geographic restrictions and pretending you're somewhere else to watch Netflix or Hulu. That's not PIA's problem. Take it up with Netflix or Hulu. It's true I can't access Hulu on my laptop without disconnecting, but I use a Roku for most of my entertainment. The times I try to view a clip from Hulu and I'm blocked, I just don't watch the clip or I disconnect from PIA for a minute or two. Such is life. One thing that has been going on for me that nobody else mentioned is being locked out of Walmart.com. It's clearly because I'm using a VPN, because disconnecting gets me right in. (notice that I said "because I'm using a VPN," it's not PIA's problem, it's Walmart.com blocking VPNs). Again, such is life. Sometimes I do get speed issues, and so I'm dinging a star for that. I have also had connectivity issues as well, and a few times I had to disconnect from PIA to get my stuff done. The main reason I'm using it is for privacy, as I work from home and don't want to expose my location to my customers. When I'm using the internet for personal use, it's not the end of the world if I pop off PIA to do something when PIA gets tangled up. If you absolutely don't want to *ever* get gnarled up with speed issues or times the service doesn't work very well, you'd probably be better off looking elsewhere. For my uses, however, it's just fine.
My internet seems to be a bit slower, but not anoying.
