I was very excited after seeing reviews of this product. I wanted something that offered me privacy, with speed and simplicity, all of which were advertised. The problems began immediately after I installed the software. I mainly wanted it for downloading torrents. I have gigabyte fiber connected directly to my residence. At any other time, it's absolutely blazing fast. My download immediately slowed by 1000%. What I would once get in minutes now took a day or more. I submitted a support ticket, and was basically told to try every possible setting under the setting menu. I'm not kidding. Their version of help is "Try this, then this, then this, then this..." It literally was me trying every setting in the settings menu, one after the other. It took an hour and none of it changed anything. The support person said something along the lines of "oh, we don't really support torrenting, but here's a link, try this stuff from our help file." I clicked on the link and it was a document telling me to try all the same things I had already tried. Not only did my torrents slow down, my browser slowed down as well. Sometimes it was very slow. I waited ten seconds for a facebook photo to show up. It eventually began to speed up again. Then, out of nowhere, my torrent download speed spiked from about 6kbps, to 1.2mbps. It downloaded almost everything in a few minutes, then the speed, for no reason at all, dropped down again to almost nothing, and stayed that way. Their help information, nor their support was very good. Surely, I'm not the first person to experience these problems, it seems like they would have help FAQ's that directly related to repeated problems, but they don't. I think what's going on is that they're oversold, and rather than tell you, we're sold almost completely out, our speed sucks now, they just let you run yourself ragged in circles, dealing with the frustration of problems that can't really be fixed. Seriously, I think the only problem they have is that they're oversold. I'm not renewing. I think I might ask for a refund. I've never given a one star review in my life. I don't feel good about giving this one. I did, however, spend three hours running in circles, which was compounded by the horrible download times, and the money I spent.

PIA has lots of decent connections but only certain servers can do certain things - which, unless you just happen to know which those are, then you are left guessing and that in and of itself is quite frustrating and even then you must be aware of it ( as I was not until someone just happened to mention it - very important & necessary info that was never presented). Another point I would like to see resolved, again on the misleading avenue...is the page that I followed to get here said I could get help by following THIS PAGE HERE AS A LINK - it was a hyperlink followed by this "...FOLLOWING THIS PAGE HERE and then from there clicking on our ONLINE CHAT HELP..." Well, when you follow the link to that page no where on it is there an online help link. In fact, when I opened a ticket find out where the online chat help was I was told that there is NO online chat help because all agent focus on clearing tickets from the cue. So it looks like that was a lie. Saying they have online chat help when they in fact, do not. very misleading and frustrating looking for something that is not there. All that aside I do have to give PIA props for the overall satisfaction of service. IF you know which servers to go to and IF you know what you need to know already then this is a very good service. Problem is getting all the information you need up front with them. Get the online chat help like they claim to have but don't and then make it a little more transparent of what servers you need to do what then I can get behind and give them the 5 stars they deserve.

I've used a few different VPN providers over the years, and recently made the move to PIA... I highly doubt I'll be going back to anyone else. I can get pretty much the full 150mbps out of my connection to the UK and Netherlands servers, I can port forward (Only 1 port, on specific servers), use P2P and even connect on 5 devices at once. But best of all, PIA does no logging whatsoever and doesn't throttle anything. Now that's worth paying for, a VPN service that doesn't "sniffer dog" your traffic 24/7 so you can download whatever you want... To a certain extent. They even support Linux, and not with a dodgy CLI utility or a manual setup, they actually have a GUI utility for Ubuntu that sits in your indicators and handles everything for you. A nice touch for us Linux users.

Netflix le détecte il faudrait que PIA trouve un moyen de contourner netflix vpn blocker. Mais pour Bloque votre ip c est très bon

Incredible software that doesn't only offer affordable, reasonable VPN among almost all major computers today, but also allows customization. You can choose the general country and/or location as well see your current ID. Thanks for the awesome service.
