Just renewed my pia membership for ""YEAR 3"" in a row. Very happy with this vpn service now and always have been from the start. I use linux Debian (jessie) and linux Mint (18) exclusively (without their client software) and never had a single hiccup. Would recommend PIA to anyone looking for a vpn :)
I have this service setup to run a perpetual VPN tunnel from my Blackberry Pi (GNU/Linux) and an concessional VPN tunnel on my Windows 10 and Mac OS machines. Setup was very easy. Excellent documentation, plenty of configuration options, performance is quite good (speedtest.net shows over 250mbits). I'm a geeky sort of guy, but I'd recommend this service to my friends and family without reservation.
I like technology, and usually I'm an "early adopter" of the latest & greatest gadget...but I don't understand the underpinnings of software as well as I should. While I've known for a long time that I "should" be using a VPN, I kept telling myself it was too much of a technical hassle to set up (or too expensive to have someone else come in and set it up for me). But on reading some article or another about stolen passwords or something, I decided to finally try and use a VPN on my own (to protect, among other things, my passwords, etc. while web surfing in hotels, Starbucks, etc.). PIA seemed to have great reviews, but I could have picked from many similar companies....but PIA got my business based on their use of plain language to describe what the VPN would be doing (at least metaphorically speaking: A private and encrypted 'tunnel' of my internet traffic!) and their multiple, easy-to-follow websites on installation. So far, I couldn't be happier -- set up was a breeze, even on my mobile devices, and I love the ability to easily choose an exit node in a country far away (not that I need that, since I'm not a dissident in a repressed country -- at least not yet, and not unless the November 2016 election goes very very badly -- but a cool and easy to understand feature). I've done some speed tests, and have not noticed any appreciable slow down using the VPN (one of my concerns). The only drawback I've had (and this is nitpicking) came when playing around and choosing different countries for my exit node, but my browser didn't realize I was in the U.S., and so it automatically directed me to sites in those various countries, like "Amazon.co.uk" instead of my normal US Amazon page (so I changed the settings to just use a US node from now on). So far, after only about a week, I have had no problems at all -- and I've received some nice proactive messages from PIA, welcoming me, but also letting me know that if I had any problem at all, they were available to help (and then gave me the various links and contact info if I do have any trouble). Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service, and wish I had signed up with PIA earlier!
This is an excellent product, easy to install, my wife and I have noticed that PIA has eliminated 99.9 percent of nuisance ad banners! This is my first time using a VPN service, and actually learning about VPNs. I had clicked on a link advertising another VPN provider. After doing the research on reviews I decided to go with PIA. I highly recommend PIA! Thanks for providing an excellent product at an affordable price!

I haven't used any other VPN services, but did research a few of them before paying for PIA. Payment, download, setup worked successfully in the first go. I was confused about the ISP DNS leak issue, but the support guy cleared my confusion & gave me tips as well !

The set-up program was very easy to use. I set it up to start with Windows so it's always running - no hassles in daily use. It's working very well so far.
Customer support - A+ Literally contacted me within MINUTES of an issue that was quickly resolved. VPN - A+ Never drops, works great. Nothing more to ask for. Price - A Slightly higher than other companies but worth it - all the reputable VPNs are in this price range so it's fine.
