I had some problems initially but customer service was spot on, they answered my emails super fast and helped me all the way through which is a lot better than some others I have been with. I have been with PIA for a few years now and other than the payment automatically being taken each year (which I stopped as I will pay when I want!) I cannot fault PIA and I am sure will stay with them for many more years to come

Trialed others, read reviews on many, talked with like minded folks. By far, PIA was most mentioned, most liked, had the most favorable comments and appeared to be the simplest with most features. Decided this was "THE ONE". Have not even told spouse that I installed on her laptop, just answering her question about "new" messages popping up and how to deal with them. Love it.

A best choice for people requiring minimal platform. Very light weight interface, runs fast and smooth, and barely experienced connectivity or latency issues. I really liked the way PIA checks back with its customers to see how they like it, and the knowledge base pretty much covered all the typical issues and questions. It was easy to setup, using the installation guide provided, and I currently use PIA on my laptop and mobile phone. It works perfectly, and is flawless with OpenVPN as well. I tried using other services like SpotFlux which is the only other VPN that seemed to have similar features that PIA provides, but had a lot of disruptions in connectivity. I'm happy with my choice and I would definitely recommend friends to use PIA. Way to go!

I had pia last year and I kept waiting for a renewal notice.you have no phone# and I had to renew from start ,well I did every thing same e-mail and same mastercard # from last yr. BRENDON T NOTIFIED ME THAT TROUBLE WITH MASTERCARD SO HE ADVISED ME TO SEND AN E-MAIL WITH PICTURE OF LAST 4 DIGITS ON MY MASTERCARD I DIDIT. Then this brendon t told me my e-mail probably did not work and I might of had spam or it was sent to junk mail . I check my junkmail and never saw anything from pia. This jerk brendon stated to me he had to fix e-mail on his end for not to have any problems on renewal in future. This issue took awhile to sort out ,then he sends me an e-mail saying the problem was not on pia end. I asked him after all I went through to give me a yr free,since the problem was not my fault ,he said no as pia was not at fault,read his e-mail he sent me about probable causes on pia end and how they were going to fix e-mail in future. So after I had all this trouble with him and pia why not a free yr and I also told him I got my friends to sign up too. Yes I am mad and sent BRENDON Ta scathing e-mail today. HE is blaming me ,I get renewals for other pay app's no problem . Why the last 4 digits and photo of my mastercard, Read last e-mail he sent me PIA is not the problem and very sorry for any inconvience we may have caused and no discount. Since I can't phone I wish my letter today is sent to someone higher up at PIA and brendon t is basically blaming me,all I wanted to do was a simple renewal. I'm just so mad as he places entire onus on me because its not PIA but then its me. I like PIA and wish no one else has issues like me. Thanks Daniel Acs

After extensive research, we decided on PIA. Our criticisms are that we never received a technical support response regarding interference with iOS navigation apps, slow to turn activate fully on phones, some slow browsing.
