It doesn't work properly with home network. Apparently it already has built in VPN. When it is engaged, my email doesn't work, so I have disabled the software on my home computer.
The VPN has gone down when playing Planetside 2 and while watching a movie. It came right back up but. causes me to have to restart the game and movies. I only use itnow when watching movies. Can't afford to lose connection during gaming battles.
gebruik deze VPN server nu een aantal weken en tot nu toe geen problemen werkt goed en simpel. ook de prijs (per jaar) is concurrerend. Voor mij prima en naar mijn idee een absolute aanrader.
Recommended for simple interface user
This service works great. I've used it for a year and haven't had any problems.
They sent you an email asking right off the bat if you are up and running...then i asked for assistance and they responded very fast and answered question...up and running using Chicago servers...speeds are quite acceptable. Love the price, service and VPN...would recommend to friends and family!!
i have been using this for few months now and i really like this, i switched to Express VPN for a month in between but i came back to PIA since it does everything like Express VPN but for a reasonable price.
I bought a years subscription as that seemed the best value for money. installed like a dream however I have during my first two or three days use come up against a few issues. 1) Probably the most significant; the VPN drops connection every hour or 90 minutes. As an online gamer this is a bit of a nightmare and it doen't automatically reconnect. If I'm in a party/group it's not simply a wipe for me but often for the group. 2) There is DNS leakage; a couple of test sites I've visited have been able to detect my isp despite having my vpn running. the leakage is rated at between 18 and 22%. 3) Despite having ticked the box for automatic connection to my vpn during PIA installation, it doesn't seem to work and the only way I can get my PIA to work is to manually start it. Update after 3 weeks. No new issues have emerged and regarding each of the above 3 issues. 1) If you right click on the PIA icon in quick start there is a menu that allows you to select from where you wish to connect. Some sites are better than others. I've found a connection that doesn't drop my connection although there are random hiatuses (hiatusi?) that last between 15 and 40 seconds, much better than a complete drop. 2) In the settings mode there's a setting that cures the leakage problem but it comes with a severe warning that it might bollix your operating system; as I have my primary drive backed up I clicked it "on": It didn't seem to affect my OS and now there's no leakage. 3) I'm still connecting to PIA manually but given what I've discovered at item 1 about the varying capacities of the differing VPNs I'm happy to select my connection VPN I'm upping my initial rating of 3 stars to 4 stars.
Easy to install and use on both Windows(7) and Android. Only had a few days but so far no problems at all and no discernable effect on internet access speeds - if anything upload is actually faster! With 5 concurent connections over different OS's (I'm using 2 windows & 3 Android) (and IOS is also available should you want to connect your iphone) it represents excellent value.
