VPNs in general need to upgrade their system so they can bypass geographical restrictions by all the mayor Apps available today. Otherwise there is no point for their existence. PIA does not offer that on Amazon Prime Video.

Pretty concerned about the change in ownership. Aside from that, I'm still using PIA simply because of the price. RE Reply Below: I read that reddit post prior to my reluctant resubscription. I'm sure you guys at PIA don't want changes post-ownership change. But considering Kape/Crossrider's previous business practices, PIA's business practices could change in the future, along with its trustworthiness. We'll see if you guys keep up the good work, till then, I'll be a worried customer.

I have had a horrendous experience with PIA customer support since the Kape Technologies acquisition. Prior to Kape Acquiring PIA, I would regularly renew at 1 year increments and would not setup auto-renew. This past July (2019) when I was up for renewal, a 2 year plan was the minimum subscription term offered, so I opted for that. Soon after news of the Kape acquisition was made public, leading me to believe that the change to subscription plans was to ensure Kape would have guaranteed revenues, most likely leading to a higher payout for PIA execs. Seeing as Kape Technologies has changed their name a few times in recent years, most recently changing from "Crossrider", which has received an aptly named Adware after them because of the Adware they embedded in software provided to consumers, I want nothing to do with this new PIA until they have proven themselves to be trustworthy under Kape Technologies. Each email I send requesting to have my membership terminated and be refunded for the unused portion is met with a stock email touting how great the acquisition is for everyone. When I reply to that stock email with my objections, I receive no reply. This treatment has been going on for months now and I am at my wits end with this company. I would prefer to observe this acquisition from the sidelines, but instead I am being held hostage and forced to participate in this acquisition against my will. I feel this is unjust treatment and not a good sign of things to come.

1) I could not access certain Netflix's korea drama (Crash landing on you) and some other movies/dramas with VPN on!! 2) Speedtest drops from 500 Mbps to 220 Mbps when i set VPN at router using DLink DIR 868L L2TP. My subscription is 500 Mbps max. 3) It would be great to have VPN to Korea, Malaysia and China too. 4) Android TV box could not stream 1080p smoothly with VPN installed in the box. I have to use VPN in the router. My box has Amlogic S905W CPU. Without VPN, the box works perfectly. I hope that you can improve on the above ASAP. Thank you.

I have been a customer for only a few weeks but since then it’s been very useful and does a wonderful job at protecting me when using unsecured hotspots. I also wanted to say that I only decided to use this service because of my favorite YouTuber Linus from Linus Tech Tips. Even though he ignores my emails for help I know he’s busy and gets lots of companies asking for sponsorship and due to his awesome work ethics he won’t promote anything that he doesn’t have confidence in and PIA is no difference.

I have PIA installed on Amazon firestick as well as iPhone, MacBook and iPad and I cannot fault PIA. It is very easy to install on all devices and very easy to operate. This is the best and easiest VPN that I have used after trying 4 other different VPNs.
