Easy to setup but still working through the issue of speed on both the desktop and mobile app.
Its good they have apps but there is no fire stick support which is the only reason i bought the service. Also the speeds you receive are painfully slow. I have 100meg speed and i get around 10meg. Thats appalling. Lastly ive sent numerous emails and received no replies. There are some good free ones which maybe i should of considered.
Customer support is nonexistant. I emailed them 4 days ago when I couldnt get the softwae to install - no response. I paid for a bunch of junk,
My first experience with a VPN service and I'm mighty impressed with PIA. The price is excellent and the set up very simple & easy to understand. The speed at home doesn't seem to be affected at all. Very happy.
As a subscriber to this service, I promptly started using it on my phone and my computer. The computer edition works perfectly, and it fufills every desire I could have. It has a rough start up, and the fact that I have to physically log in every time I restart my computer - without it remembering my login information - is a bother. It does remember original login info, but if you change your password, for instance, it will revert to the original info every time your PC boots up. This means you must re-enter your new info every time it happens. This would be a great thing to smooth out! On the cellphone is where my real big issue lies. There is absolutely NO firewall bypass service. I looked. Unless it is hiding, it's really not there. Now, I am a student, so my particular needs are different from most people, but the fact that the firewall for the public wifi at the the college I am attending cannot be bypassed by this service, and that instead I must resort to other (FREE) services that can, is just alarming. A payed "VPN" service should be able to bypass a simple school firewall. This is no Pentagon-level security. All in all, the computer version works well, though I have yet to attempt to use it on my school's public wifi. The phone version can't even do what some free services can do (an example of these services would be Lantern VPN), and that is very very disappointing. P.S: this was typed on my phone, sorry for weird mistakes that look autocorrected, they are probably all over the place.

When I try to start windows PSI stops windows from loading. I have to disconnect PSI then windows will load up. Not very happy with the purchase. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate. When I load PSI after Windows is running PSI slows down my Windows so bad that I have to disconnect PSI.

It's super easy to initially set up and the price is good. But the speed is still a concern for me and also PIA doesn't seem to have the 24/7 support as they claimed. I'm waiting for a response for 3 days already for one issue and almost 24h for another. Yet, the only message I receive from them says "Thanks for becoming our customer, please leave us some feedback"....
Very easy service to use. I've experienced a few similar services and the setup, installation and use of this service is the best I've encountered to date. Does exactly what it is supposed to do and is extremely user-friendly. Highly recommend!
