Third party software has repeatedly identified my exact location 100% of the time for the past three months now. I've also noticed some exceptionally slow speeds using PIA to the point where I have to turn off the service to restore basic functionality. The customer service has been very responsive, but it would seem most of them speak Windows and have no problem solving skills for Mac users. The solutions offered are a bit complicated and unwieldy for the likes of end users like me. The short version is this: PIA doesn't work in it's most basic form which is to provide anonymity.
Been Having questions since day one. Can't seem to get a real person to respond. They say 24/7 support but that must mean by bot as each time I send in a ticket for assistance I never hear back and my questions go unanswered. Not very intuitive to use.
No way Customer Service Representative can help you...or even get back to you...very disappointing !!!

Doesn't work for BBC iPlayer regionalism checks from US. I sent an email asking for a refund and got no response other than automatic emails to post a review. So here it is.
PIA doesn't work... tried for ages to adjust the configuration, sent several messages to support, got nothing back except a message to say they're experiencing an "unexpected support load". Can't imagine why! Don't waste your time with this one!
If I could put negative stars. I would. I installed five days ago, and it has never worked. I have written 10 emails, and two Facebook messages, and one comment, and all I get is an incessant loop telling me to put in a ticket. Which of course, I have. The program does not show up in task bar. There are no files in the folder, but when I follow the instructions to clear the computer, and reinstall, it comes up and says the program is running. But there are no files on. There is no where that a profile shows up. I have asked for a refund. I need a response. I did see on another review they said to write helpdesk and attn customer service. Which I did 15 hours ago, and I see now they just put this list. Must be robots there, seems to be no HUMAN people there. I just want a refund. I have sent to Support, to Billing, to FB, why not someone contact me at my address. PS I did receive an email form Colleen which said that if you respond to an open ticket, which who knew I had an open ticket, nobody said anything other than their response times are longer than normal, i.e. 5 days. Then I was asked to put my customer number in and respond, but in that email, she had said that if I respond I go back to the end of the queue. Why not contact me in a way that
Have sent 4 emails to customer service and they have not replied to one. Asked for my money back and still no response. Out of all the various companies that I have dealt with over the years, PIA takes the cake for ignoring customers. Truly horrible customer service!
The PC version works very well and I have had no issues with it. The iPhone version has problems where it blocks communication and has to be turned off to allow the browser or app to fuction.
PIA. Is one of the best VPN I ever have.. right now am using PIA and it has a very secure line.. strong and very powerful to hold a long connection in a state precise as settings I love PIA the very best vpn thanks to private internet access
