easy to use once you navigate it
PIA is a great tool. It's so easy to use, and it's ~$35 for the whole year! At a time when personal privacy is in such short supply in every aspect of our lives, this is at least some relief. It does slow my speeds a bit, but it's hardly noticeable (for me, anyway), and the benefits far outweigh the speed reduction. I have recommended this to a handful of friends, and I will continue my service as long as they don't change anything too much.
What can I say, been using PIA for 4 or 5 years straight and their service has continued to improve year after year so much that there is zero loss in internet speed when connected to their servers vs your paid subscription speed through your internet provider, 4 or 5 years ago I wouldn't have been writing this review because speed suffered quite a bit literally in half as in 50mbs vs the 100mbs service I was paying for, even still I didn't complain much because it was still plenty fast and BitTorrent download privacy was my main concern at the time, PIA still offers today the privacy Bitorrent users need without exceptions and now at zero speed loss, what more can you ask for, oh yes of course at a price of $3.33 a month for a year's subscription, can't say enough about PIA they are the full package
I'm an individual user, and use this for being able to watch shows or listen to the radio in Japan, where I grew up. Both on Android and Windows, I've had no issues. Always consistently works.
Took a little while to figure out how to get this to work on my Linux computer. Kept googlling and was able to piece together several how tos. I now have it installed on three linux mint computers, two on open vpn and one on the app. Both appear to be doing well without any drop offs. Glad I purchased this.
I love the idea of VPN. I have always been very wary of open networks. Now I feel safer. I don't think anyone can feel completely safe anywhere, whatever protection they are using. The only issue is that it slows my internet. So I turn it off at home on my own private network and on when I leave and consider using an open network. So far I'm very happy with my experience.
I'm fairly ignorant about this software, but got it set up on 5 apple devices in a day. Seems to work fine. If it allows me to stream my tv service when out of the US I will give it 5 stars.
Works perfectly on Windows 10 and Android. Simple interface and no lag or ping at all.
