Monatsabo bezahlt aber nicht freigeschaltet worden. Bin drei Tage lang dem Support hinterhergerannt – ohne Ergebnis. Hab hier gelesen dass dieses Problem auch andere betrifft. Der Mac App Store war glücklicherweise hilfreicher und hat mir schließlich das Geld erstattet. Klingt für mich nach einer schlechten Taktik. Selbst bei der Anfrage meinen Account daraufhin zu löschen, hat der Support versagt. Absolut lächerlich. Also besser Finger weg.
Once connected, performance is very satisfactory. But, the never ending updates are very annoying.

- It will disconnect from VPN silently and not warn you that you are browsing unprotected. Kill switch function is not shown as an option on MacOS app either. Another VPN service I tested shows the option and even gives me the option to connect to another server automatically. - They don't warn you that whilst you are switching servers you are unprotected. I just discovered that via another VPN service that cared to tell me that. Ideally, all connections should be temporarily blocked until VPN connection is restored or the customer chooses to proceed without VPN. - Thousands of useless slow servers just make the work of finding one that offers a good speed very difficult. - Stupid map interface makes selecting and finding good and speedy servers very difficult. List of servers is constrained to scrollable small boxes with text in microscopic font size instead of shown in the big area where the useless map is. We are not asking for directions we are trying to select the fastest servers: a good list will do better! - No information about server speeds next to their names. Allowing NordVPN to select the server for you will generally pick a slow server, even if a much closer faster server is around. More: For a service that prides themselves in offering a secure way to browse the web, I was impressed that they offered a kill-switch function that should the VPN go down blocks all connections from the computer. In the first day of use, I was browsing and doing my work thinking that I was shielded from my own TP-Link router (read below why) and then my connection stopped for a minute or two. A few minutes later, a NordVPN notification popped up saying I was connected to the United Kingdom and then after a few other minutes my connection was restored. A couple of hours later I looked at the menu bar of the MacOS and the NordVPN icon was deactivated, I clicked on it and the status was disconnected. This is why it is so important for me: I decided to subscribe to NordVPN after I read a review in Amazon revealing that TP-Link Deco routers' Privacy Policy and Terms of Use give that company automatic consent to monitor, collect and record information about my usage of the router including my IP address, pages visited and time anyone in my household spent on pages. The Policy also allows them to transfer any personal data collected from a TP-Link router to China or any other country in the world. You can't set up their Deco network unless you agree with that before. So whilst I wait for a new WIFI Mesh router from ASUS to arrive, I wanted to protect myself, my children and employer (since we are all working from home these days) in the meantime. You see, not all of us are using VPN to download illegal files or access Fortnite in Norway. Even in the UK, we might need to safeguard the ones we love from totalitarian regimes and companies. Statement: as a consumer, I reserve the right to change or not my review rating and review content, depending on the company's dealing with the described issues so that a fair review is always guiding other consumers in the right path. Nevertheless, please be aware that even if I change a review from bad to good, I will still describe what the original issue was.
NordVPN is easy to use and the design of the app is stylish and impressive. It's easy to pick servers and there are so many to choose from. I'm happy I chose NordVPN.
