Never work, never solve any issues, keep asking you to try without any results. Never refund because of their terms of service. I think I can respect their terms of service when they are fully and constantly available. Obviously, they DON'T.
Had NordVPN for a while great app and service, used it for a while but found a better and cheaper alternative so decided to cancel my subscription via the NordVPN website. It is not clear however that this does not cancel your subscription to Mac App store payments as well. NordVPN had been taking payments from me 3 months after cancelling my subscription on their website via the app store. When speaking to one of their "agents" on live chat (Branden) they couldn't care less, send you a link to an outdated third party site of a way you "might" be able to get a refund but don't. Shocking how a basic function other leading VPN companies can exercise apart from NordVPN. Avoid them and download Hide My A** VPN, might better UI and faster than NordVPN.
work good till you're free trial ends and the its slow and if you need help nord is useless i will never use nord again
I'm in the US, I got nordvpn in september 2019. It is EASY to use...almost effortless, installed easily and it is just about as fast as my own connection with NO problems. I do everything on it and nothing lags or delays. I tried another before this and it was SLOWWWWWWWWW and a total nightmare, when I'd change a webpage it would cause it to be unable to detect the connection for the websurfing. I make my computer jump through hoops sometimes...and multitask like a mad dog...nordvpn keeps up with no problem. Ahhhhhhh, relief. I am mystified about what these other reviews are talking about, but perhaps they upgraded things and fixed all that is all I can think. Or that it works better in some countries than others. Nordvpn is well worth at least trying for a month (at the time of this writing it is $11 something for a month) to see if you like it. I think if you get a couple days in and decide you hate it, you can get a refund and it gives you a chance to put it through its paces. I like it SO much that I have decided that this is the way to go and as soon as I have the money available (in another month or two) I am going to just get their 3 year plan, consider it part of my monthly internet cost, and put all my devices on it. Interneting in privacy is far better than interneting under someone's magnifying glass. Not that I do anything worth looking at, but it's the idea and principle of the thing. AND I can get video that is usually blocked from the BBC and that is awesome.
Read the reviews, installed NordVPN on a 3 yr subscription, reasonable price. It really screwed up my desktop. Firefox links would not work, Quicken crashed, NitroPro crashed, RevoUninstaller broken and several other programs broken. Tried to correct, too many things. Restored from a backup. Now everything works. Called NordVPN customer support. Offered to troubleshoot, but I had already uninstalled NordVPN and tried to correct the many issues this software caused. If you try it, please backup your boot and program files and create a restore point if in Windows. You will likely need the backups. Thanks OS Win 7 64 Bit, ASUS MB, SSD boot drive.
This product is just terrible. I bought a 3 year subscription and it is unuseable, literally. I have now removed it from all my devices. Symptoms are: NordVPN on and internet speeds crash by 95%. NordVPN off and speed returns. I have been wrestling with this digital diarrhea for months.
The VPN is slow from time to time and keeps buffering when trying to watch Netflix or other types of media players and I generally don't use it a lot, main issue I've got is their support, I've requested a refund 5 to 7 days ago while still within their 30 day refund policy from what I could find and they have yet to answer send another email which I haven't gotten a response on either. Afraid I won't see my money back cause their support is slow and will give me some bullsh*t response that is was not within 30 days. Edit 27/9/19: While I initially wanted a refund I decided to keep the VPN and blame the temporary and occasional slow speeds on my provider. Since connections to the server appear to be stable and uninterrupted after some tests together with their support. One thing I will say to others tho if you do not receive a automated email back when you send a support ticket start a live chat. For some reason I haven't gotten any emails or automated ones to my refund requests.
Simply this. The best speed achieved on expressvpn was 30mbs on any of their server locations. Nordvpn server speeds are at least 70mps any site. Don't believe those reviews that claim differently. My ips rogers toronto.
Do not ever pay for NordVPN NordVPN is selling a product that doesn't work, a total scam. I spent a week in China and my VPN did not work for a single minute. Very disappointing, I wonder how much NordVPN paid for good reviews in media etc. I would not recommend this product for my worst enemy, it's a fraud. The support was very poor telling me that "sometimes" the Chinese government block their servers. I received no payback nor any other compensation. DO NOT USE!
Seeing the offer of £2.99 a month decided to give it a go, what followed was unbelievable, following instructions downloaded, and immediately after trying to open my emails, or anything, it became impossible, I repeated the instructions, but the result was the same, knowing they guarantee a 30 day money back, immediately requested a refund, that was five days ago, all I get is emails telling me how to download despite explaining the situation, maybe it works in some countries, but it certainly doesn't work here in the UK.
