its a scam... be careful... asked for a refund within 2 weeks and was told that my processor payment (credit card) is not entitled for a refund?????!!!! Dishonest people... Update to reply: You team are here to help?! Just refund my money as you should... i asked for it during the "money back guarantee"... I was told that would be in my account in x days and then i was told that i won´t... Honest company´s don´t act like that...
My connection randomly drops for a few seconds. Super annoying when it comes to gaming. If you're a gamer, do NOT buy this VPN.
Very fair price and im suprised by how easy it is to use. If you are looking to purchase a package get the 3 year plan.
not impressed, signed for a 3 year sub which, to be honest, for the first few weeks seemed OK, but just lately I have intermittent connection problems on both my windows 10 and my android TV box both asking for my log in credentials which state are incorrect. I contacted Nord chat who reverted me to an older programme but this has been happening on a regular basis which I'm not happy about. I emailed Nord to revoke and cancel my sub but they stated I'd passed their 30 days T&C's, unfortunately for Nord I paid with my CC and have a couple of years to hit them with a charge back, I have started the process and will get my payment revoked. If they could've sorted out my issue, this would have been OK, but I'm not going to spend my precious time in a chat with another one of their tech's to go through the same over and over which has so far been the case on numerous occasions. Nope, Nord VPN isn't up to the standards of ExpressVpn,
A lot of the server are slow and unreliable. Not to mention most of the server are blocked by netflix, so I cannot even access their site when using one of their VPN servers.
Its been a few hours since my subscription started and i haven't had any problems with the service.
Just cancelled my three year subscription 15 days in to the 30 day cancellation period. I also signed up for a dedicated ip address and whist the download speeds were impressive at first they degraded over the short time I used it. Upload speeds are awesome and frequently outstripped the downloads which is weird. Most websites recognised I was on a VPN despite the dedicated ip address rendering it pointless. Most irritating of all, the prices on their website are quoted in £s excluding VAT but they bill in $USD plus VAT so you are hit with a poor exchange rate, a foreign currency exchange fee and VAT. Add 25% to cover the extras.
After using Nord VPN for 4 months now I can say that it is a good service although sometimes the speeds can be very slow on some servers, dipping to less than 20 mbps down speed on my 200 package. On average I would say that I get about 30% of my original speed though. I'm writing this review today due to my experience with Nord's customer service via live chat. The application on my PC stopped working for some reason and no matter what I did, I couldn't restore it to its functional state. I was given multiple solutions to try and even asked to send in my event history for them to peruse. Thanks to the agent, who really did go above and beyond their remit in my opinion, everything is back to normal. (Thank you, Aurora.)
I`ve had no problems using the VPN and the seed has been fine, but I do have download of 74 Mbps without VPN and drops to about 67 Mbps with VPN. On a few occasions, it`s failed to connect to servers in some countries and I can`t log in to BBC with the VPN on for example. I took out a 3 year subscription in June of this year. A lot can happen in 3 years regarding regulations restricting VPN possible. If I had read the revues on here regarding refunds, I probably wouldn`t have chosen this VPN. But as I`m having no real problems, I`m glad I did.
Only gave it one star so I could leave a review. 26 days after joining, I went to the nord website, requested a new Password so I could cancel the account and get my money back, as per their 30 day money back promise. Got the password went to the nord website again and emailed through their support page email cancelling the account and asking for my money back. Travelled abroad and came a month later and found nothing had been done. Went back to the nord website and contacted the support team...sorry we dont seem to have got your cancelling email. No money back. Problems I had..very slow connection when connecting through Nord so slow I could have send letters faster. Have Norton von now..no problem surfing. Make you dont use the inbuilt email on their website water of time and now money.
