Finally took the plunge and purchased NordVPN's 3 year deal. Sadly their service is rubbish. Nord's Australian servers consistently run slow and I am having to constantly disconnect and reconnect. Plus the NordVPN app chews up memory on Windows 7. Found the same issue with overseas servers too, ie. initially fast then after a short while they drop to a crawl. Looks like Nord has oversubscribed their infrastructure. Its better on my Galaxy S8. Speeds dropping from 47 Mbps to 39.8 Mbps DN and 15.5 Mbps to 6.46 Mbps UP. Generally seems stable, but my phone does seem overall slower with NordVPN app than without it. CONCLUSION: Going to get a refund. Buyer beware. Looks like NordVPN is better at marketing than VPN technology. :(

Oplever det samme som Yogi der i September skriver sin anmeldelse af jeres produkt. Mine opleveler er at jeg har en god forbindelse UDEN brug af NordVPN, og jeg er nødt til at slå den fra på alle mine enheder for at opnå den hastighed jeg betaler for. Jeg har ikke haft kontakt til nogen support, da jeg på forhånd allerede kender svaret på mine spørgsmål og først nu et år efter mit køb dog efter en hel del tests erkender min 3årige aftale - jeg iøvrigt valgte på baggrund af enormt gode anmeldelser på nettet, jeg troede var troværdige er spild af penge og selv anerkendte PC-magasiner lader til at blive betalt for at direkte at lyve. HVIS NordVPN vil give en god service, bør de give mig mine penge tilbage, da jeg ikke får hvad jeg har betalt for.

I have a 200mbps (speedtest(dot)net/result/8727332216) connection and when I use this it drops to less than 1mbps when connected to the closest/recommended NordVPN server (speedtest(dot)net/result/i/3529547341) making it USELESS to even browse the web. EVEN FREE VPNs ARE FASTER!! They will WASTE YOUR MONEY on SIX-FIGURE YouTuber sponsorships instead of providing you the best service! After performing all troubleshoot steps and still zero speed improvements, they REFUSE TO REFUND me for a 3 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION recently purchased! This is the WORST customer service I've ever received!! DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID! CHEAP PRICE NOT WORTH IT - AVOID AT ALL COST!!

It's performance is good though but its rumour regarding server hack made me tensed. although i would like to recommend expressvpn and purevpn as an alternative for better service. whereas currently purevpn is offering such a massive discount of 85% off which is as low as $1.65 per month as halloween deal.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. Paid $11.95 for one time, one month access. I would give it a minus star if I could. Was unable to access when in China for 2 weeks. They ignored all my emails when I asked for a refund on their “money back guarantee.” Then they tried to charge me again for the next month. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Free BETTERNET is so much “better.”

This review is limited to NordVPN's dedicated IP service - I am not reviewing the standard VPN service offered by NordVPN. Regarding the dedicated IP, NordVPN's own website advertises the service as a way to have a dedicated IP address - which means no one but you will be be assigned the IP address. This service is advertised as a means of skipping blacklists and avoiding captchas. I purchased the service and was immediately overwhelmed with captchas whenever I attempted to peform a search and I found that I could not login to may of my online accounts because the IP address had been blacklisted. NordVPN advised me that the IP address may have been blacklisted based on its use by other prior users and to give it some time as the more time without any issues from the IP, the more likely the IP was going to be removed from the blacklists. After serveral months, nothing changed. So I asked for a refund or a new IP address. I was told (as per the chat log that I have) that: (1) You will NOT be given a new dedicated IP address after an IP has been assigned to you and (2) You will NOT be given a refund because more than 30 days have elapsed since your purchase. Say what? NordVPN told me to wait to see if the issues re balcklisting resolved. I did that and the issue has not resolved. Now NordVPN tells me that its been too long to get a refund? Look - that's just outright wrong and a great way to alienate a customer. NordVPN's regular, pool-based VPN services are great but the dedicated IP service is absolutely awful. I cannot use it - it is impossible to do much of anything online when I am connected to it. I cannot be more emphatic when I say you should NOT purchase a dedicated IP address via NordVPN. Do your research and find another provider that doesn't sell you a service that offers exactly the opposition what its own website claims it provides.

I have 100Mbps download when I use teh VPN to watch sports it goes to 2/4MBPS. Spend an hour on chat and they never fix the issue. Worst VPN ever. Worst of I can not get a refund as over 30Day guarantee even though its not fit for purpose. I think its a scam.

I don't really understand the negative reviews. I was with Nord for 3 years. They were great on PCs, ipads and iphones. Excellent for torrents. Their app is lovely and easy to use. The lost star for me and reason why I left is it didn't unlock the bbc on a Firestick. Customer support just said try a different server, which I did and none of them worked. They didn't seem at all interested in solving this. Shame, because they were otherwise great.
