I was charged £81.99 after signing up for a free trial. Cancelled the subscription after two minutes. I requested a refund as this was misleading and Google pay refused to give me a refund. What a rip off. If I day I'm not happy with the service I expect to get my money back not to be forced to use a service I cannot afford. That is not fair.
NORDVPN ITS A SCAM, THEY SOLD ME A DEDICATED IP ADDRESS THAT AT THE END IT WAS BLOCKED BY AMAZON AND EBAY, THEY DID NOT WANT TO CHANGE THE ADRESS, THEY DID THIS SAME THING 2 TIMES, SCAMMERS, THEY DID NOT A REFUND... Update requested by Nord VPN: Mr Rohan just took my case today at 9:30am, also i have contacted your support team several times and no one solves my issues, they say that is not a tech issue and nobody can change my IP address that have been blocked by Amazon and Ebay, i insist that this is a scam.
Got NordVPN connection for some month. And it's true what they say about the connection etc. So no complaint from me. Great speed and it work with all stream services, who not come with error, when you are using VPN, and say please shut down the VPN if you want to watch the video. And the latest update now I can de-select apps that don't run corretly through the encrypted VPN connection, so it work, when VPN is on.
Used to be really good before they started advertising on TV - slow servers, timeout connecting. Would not recommend.
If you are going to China this vpn will be useless for you, over national holidays restrictions are tighter and vpns often go down for a bit, but nord has been down for at least a month now and when i emailed them about it they said they had no eta on when it would be up and running again and that basically i'm stuck paying for a vpn that doesn't work because my 30 days had run out. I had to buy another VPN. Don't waste your money paying for a service you don't get.
It is totally a scam and trash. I paid for the service and their system sent me an email to activate my account. However, the activation link in the email is dead. They also sent me another email to let me change my password. The links inside this email are also dead. I cannot login to my account or use the VPN service without activating my account but i cannot due to all these dead links. So i went to their website and clicked "Forgot password". They sent me another email to reset my password and you know what, every links in this email is DEAD!!!!! I paid for the service for nothing! And their support is trash. Only self support on their website. dafuq? What a scam.
Poor customer service; communication...seems same person named “D” is representative? He transfers to “Brenden”. Same names each time. The Card I used initially was not accepted; I tried 3 times; tried another card, it worked but would not accept the “promotional” code of $3.49 monthly, thus had to cancel; straightened this out after much time wasted and paid for the year with yet another card; everything worked fine for approximately 2 weeks and stopped. Contacted “support “ and the issue was not resolved as per communication issues....and, their refusal for a supervisor...spent an inordinate amount of time...issue not resolved, refused supervisor
Advertise a misleading of price £2.82 per month and offer the option for a direct debit but actually expect the full amount upfront. Staff aren't bothered and ignore the issue when you tell them it's misleading. If you have any technical issues however they are quick to respond and resolve it.
6 months ago I'd have rated nord with 5 stars however recently it seems that websites know what ip addresses they use. I can't access optus sport when I'm in the uk because it knows its a vpn. I can't access any online uk banks, the bbc, sky sports several other sites from Australia because, again, it knows its a vpn. My 3 years subscription just ended so I'm going to look elsewhere unfortunately because it used to be a great service
SCAM ALL AROUND! Paid for a 3-year subscription and after a few days I found the service slow, had ads to begin with (on desktop and mobile) and overall just wasn't happy. ASKED for a REFUND followwing their SO GREAT 100% REFUND POLICY. To this day, after over 1 month of emails back and forth, STILL NO REFUND! Just a SCAM and DELAYING something so simple. I have also given my bank account number, more than 20 emails exchanged and ALWAYS HEARING "your payment has been processed, check with your bank" crap ! This is a joke of a company! STAY WAY!
