NordVPN is the fifth VPN I tried over a period of about 7 years. I have been using it non-stop for about to 3 years and am totally satisfied. Suffice it to say that everything they claim in their advertising is totally true. I will keep my subscription active for as long as I am active on the Internet. Keep up the excellent work! They do what they say
Used Nord for years great program very trustworthy.
THe latest version fails to store login info (if I want it to on a known safe home PC, I should have the option). Also, erroneous popups warning of downtime on the current server happen constantly (pop-up might happen, but no drop is detected even hours later). Both of these issues are new. Over the last several years I have been otherwise pleased with Nord's performance.
I had purchased NordVPN one other time in the past for a one-month period while out of the country on vacation. I made the purchase thru their app on my iPhone and easily cancelled the subscription through Apple. This year I purchased the “one-month” subscription through their website instead of thru Apple. Unbeknownst to me, NordVPN continued to “renew my subscription” every month (according to their “terms of service”) and I failed to notice the charge on my AmEx account for several months. Luckily I’m not out a crazy amount of $, but it’s annoying. Their website is misleading, my online account shows I had a one-month subscription & lists a one-time payment. No other payments are shown, so I assumed the service was set up for just one month unless I renewed. But the account was, in fact, still active and continued to charge me. Just posting this as an FYI.
