I've been using this service for quite some time now. I give it four stars because no matter how good the service is, there is always room for improvement. Its fast very reliable and you can't go wrong. I've used quite of few of other programs and don't even come close to this little gem. All I have to say is use it because you just Cant go wrong.

Don't know why I would switch to someone else. It works great. Good speeds, stability, good privacy ratings from independent sources. PIA is the best vpn provider out there. Tip: for mobile, use the openvpn app to connect with PIA, not their own app, and it works perfectly.

If you want a provider committed to unblocking Netflix don't choose PIA. I'm thankful that my sub only has a few months to run.

It generally takes a lot to get money from me, especially for something like VPN with many free alternatives. However, PIA came highly recommended on Reddit and other sites I frequent so I decided to try it out for a month. The data throughput is excellent, low latency when I connect through any of their datacenters in the US, and I have not once experienced disconnects or slowdowns despite what some would consider heavy traffic. That one month turned into nearly a year so far, and I don't have any plans to get rid of my subscription. Only writing this review because I really would like to spare other people the trouble of going through other, less reliable and poorly optimized services when I've already been through that process and have found the best solution for me.

Only complaint I have is sometimes a little slow, but that could be various factors. Not necessarily the product. I did have a connection problem initially but the customer service was fantastic and sorted the problem out right away!

Since January 2016 placeshifting of TV through Ziggo app (Dutch TV) and even payment plugins don't work anymore. Just paid my new yearly subscription. "Helpdesk" just said they changed policy and either Privateinternetaccess is leaking their customer's IP's or the by PIA used IP's are known and blocked by certain providers. Anyways, I used the service without big problems for over 2 years, but now it became totally useless for me. If an app tells me I am not situated in the Netherlands while using a Dutch PIA VPN tunnel, then something is not right. By the way, the behaviour of Ziggo is ridiculous because I pay my TV subscription in The Netherlands otherwise it would not even be possible to login to their App, but they think it is necessary to play some kind of police officer stating the rights of the televisionprograms could be affected. The only thing is that in 2016 people are more mobile around the world and I will e.g. never look local television but want to look the programs I've paid for. I tried another VPN party, CactusVPN, they had the same policy. So I think VPN's become quite useless for these purposes.

I've had no issues using the software and it was easy and fast to install and get going. I love how easy it is to turn it on and off and I've had no speed issues when running it. I'm happy!

Used for two years with great results. Now cannot use to access Neflix US based service. PIA service is now mostly worthless and PIA are claiming they have "legal issues". I do not believe this is correct and certainly is not true in Australia. PIA has chosen to support Netflix in dealing with its contractual issues of its own making ... effectively it makes more money selling content in Australia than servicing its grass-roots customer base. Our own Government competition watchdog has given blessing to our right to access US services using a VPN.Ultimately Netflix's collusion with local content providers is nothing short of price gouging and would be illegal in Australia if not for the out-of-country jurisdictional contracts. I will cease my PIA contract if they do not support me in this matter. I don't expect any joy in this matter.

PIA was recommended by a friend of mine in the cyber security industry. By far the best vpn service I have had. Easy to setup, easy to use. Very secure and very fast.
