The VPN is fast and easy to set up and use. Would recommend to anyone.
Just a few minor speed problems, but more than likely due to me initially fiddling around. Best set to auto methinks.
I have just signed up for a full year (after trying PIA for 3 months) because A) it works perfectly and B) one year is terrific value. It's easy to set up and use across my various devices, it offers a very comprehensive world-wide service, and I truly believe it is 100% secure. To check I just carried out three separate DNS leak tests (at dnsleaktest) and it passed with flying colours. The only servers detected by the test were the ones provided by PIA vpn, just as it should be. Cannot be faulted.
I've used Private Internet Access for over 12 months now. It works fine on my mobile devices, Windows PC and Linux laptop. If you can make regular use of it then it's great value for money. I find the performance is excellent and I never feel it impacts my usage at all. A vital service when I'm using "free" WiFi or cafe/hotel services.
Have used PIA for about 1.5 year. + Good speed - VPN kill switch not always working when having connection issues - Automaticaly bills for another (year in my case) without asking first.
awesome! will looking forward to this!
Works as advertised, no problems at this time!
Had PIA for a couple of years now and my only regret is that I didn't subscribe to it sooner. Only had positive experiences with PIA and I wouldn't want to "go-on-line" without it!
pros: 1. If i remember correctly its easy to install if you know how computers act althought somewhat confusing for me as as i didnt understand how to turn it on and such the first time. Reasonably easy to connect and possibly enough locations to connect to. 2. Works on ubuntu cons: 1. *edit* The vpn was leaking and i ticked the box in the advanced settings that says dns leak protection and it seems to have fixed it for me. **** I did a vpn leak test on doileak.com and it seems PIA might be leaking. pia should look into fixing it asap. i have also seen other people saying the isp will see everything even with pia on and that must be fixed. This is the info it gave me when i did the test: DNS Request Source: We did get DNS requests from the following IPs: 91.108.183.170: Inter Connects (60485), Sweden (EU) ***(my ip)***: PowerTech Information Systems (5381), Norway (EU) (Leak?) We received DNS requests from you via a DNS server from another AS (routable network) than your HTTP request. This could mean that your DNS requests are leaking. ------------------------------------------------ 2. Automaticaly renews your subscription without asking first. 3. Support seem to be using copy paste and not be english, and so sometimes may be difficult to speak with.
pros: - The vpn connections from this provider are unbeatable cons: - No discount for Easter - No German Gift Cards - No good solution for Port Forwarding - Support is copy & paste - Only cheap when I buy a year
