Speed has been very good. I'm getting between 5-10 Mbps regularly. Works perfectly within my Oracle Virtual Box Virtual Machines as well.

Had this service for 2 years. On a 150 down mbps connection you get dropped down to 10-20 mbps. Worked with tech support eventually they gave up and said its a known issue with windows. Yes windows the most widely used OS. If you have internet above 20 mbps and you use windows DO NOT BUY THIS VPN! Want to test it out? Do a ookla speed test with the VPN off and then do one with it on and see what happens! I thought all vpns were just slow, I then tried a free trial of astrill and found out its just PIA! In response to the reply, I would like you to submit a video of anyone on a windows machine with a 100+ mbps down connection. Have them do a speedtest before they turn on PIA vpn and after. Post the results, this is not a issue that has to do with me. I am also no longer a customer. With astrill I can connect half way around the world and get better speeds. Your servers are capped in some capacity and the more I think about it the less I believe it has anything to do with windows.

Provides an excellent service at a reasonable cost. Customer support is better than that of most major corporations. Definitely my favorite VPN

VPN does not slow my fast cable connection, and it's still only $7 monthly. Linux software is stable. (Autoloading the VPN on boot in Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon prevented audio drivers loading properly, but launching it after boot works fine.) I've used PIA before and I'm back again, as I said I'd be when they asked why I was leaving. (Didn't need it for a while.)

I am new to using VPN so I can not give a full evaluation yet, but my experience so far has been fairly good. I did experience an issue with the PIA VPN client disconnecting me without me being aware that I was no longer connected even though I had it set to connect automatically so that was not good. Then I noticed that I could not connect at all even when I tried to connect manually so I uninstalled/reinstalled the PIA VPN client and it started working again. PIA support was quick to respond and offered some suggestions regarding adding exceptions to my firewall settings, but since I use the default settings for Windows Firewall I don't see why I should have to manually add exceptions. So right now I am giving the PIA VPN client 4 stars because when it was working it worked great. Once I have used PIA VPN client awhile longer I will update my review. I would give PIA support 5 stars for quickly responding to all my concerns.

Decent-priced VPN service with unlimited and —in my experience— fast internet. The few technical issues I had were easily resolved with the support pages on their website or by contacting them by email. Customer support was very fast and helpful!

I was charged twice for my subscription. Contacted the company and never received a reply or received a refund. Beyond unimpressed with them.
