Easy to install on Mac, PC, and iPad! The only problem I have is with one site that refuses to respond if PIA is connected (Ancestry.com - their software is, at best, mediocre IMO). Otherwise, I notice no difference in upload or download speed. I can even use YouTube without interference. No criticisms so far, and I do feel so much happier being protected from being spied on.

Very slow internet connection, even when just browsing. I'm getting 3-6mb download max speed with cable internet (Australia). If I had known this I wouldn't of purchased 2 years subscription. I tried many different servers, that's the highest I am able to get, really disappointing. I am on cable internet with a constant download speed of 30mb, my ISP shouldn't be the problem with the speed i'm getting, its most likely the speed of which the server is providing. I recommend using another company, some offer 30 day money back guarantee, where as PIA only offer 7 days.

I understand that VPNs can affect the speed of loading webpages, including slowing down the operation. PIA actually results in slightly speeding up my page loads. I appreciate that greatly. Also, it took me, an intermediate-level user, about 5 minutes to set up PIA once I purchased. Easy. And the customer support for new users is excellent. My only slight negative feedback is that before buying, I asked a question, and it took a few days to get an answer back – but I understand that you're far busier than usual with the recent Internet privacy law change in the US. But concerning new-user CS, I've asked questions about how to properly proceed with connecting to PIA via hotspots, such as at department stores, after having been connected to my cell service, and the answers have been prompt, professional, and correct; simply connect to the wifi and then connect to PIA. I've also asked questions about whether to use incognito or private browsing when using PIA, and CS helped me understand those answers, too. Thank you for your excellent product and customer service.

I do a lot of reviews on Amazon and I am not an easy sell at all. I rarely give 5 stars and don't hesitate to trash a product if it is not a good deal. This service has worked great for me. Easy to get going, software install worked perfectly, no hassle transparent to all my online apps, and I am still getting top speeds from qBitTorrent. Cant ask for more than that.

I am totally frustrated with your services. The purpose behind my installing PIA is to be able to use torrent services as my ISP (Telecom Malaysia) throttles torrents. However, I see that PIA is not only unable to provide stable connection to their servers in Singapore/Hong Kong, but also disconnecting me from the INTERNET very frequently !!! I am not able to even connect to the internet, leave alone torrents for long periods!!! Yesterday, after a usual disconnection, PIA was refusing to connect with the blue icon being displayed for a very long time. The disappointing thing was that I was not able to browse the net as long as PIA was installed in my PC. I was able to get connected to TM only after I uninstalled PIA from my PC. Also, I see that the torrent speeds are not stable even while PIA is connected. And sometimes, my torrents are running in full speed without PIA connected! I wonder what is the purpose of having this VPN when things are only getting worse?? Also, when I visit some sites, I am getting ads which say that my IP address is so and so and that my location is Singapore!!. This means that my IP address (though shown to be in a different location)is clearly visible to anyone.

Read about this program in a review and since I am able to log onto a free service extended through our cable company hotspots rather than using my iphone hotspot (and paying for it), this program allows me to use the free service with safety. I subscribed to it because of the reviews in a respected PC magazine...and so far, everything they wrote has proved true. I also exhibit my art at conferences and sometimes there is "free internet" which I have never used because of the safety issues for customers. With this service, I am more confident about the security.
