I had a bit of a problem getting this set up which turned to be because my home directory is encrypted. PIA solved the problem in a couple of days and were extremely helpful. It now works well on my Linux Mint desktop and my Android tablets.

I am 70 years old and not very computer literate. However, after reading as much as I could absorb about VPNs and the various providers, I decided Private Internet Access seemed to offer what I needed without being terribly complicated or expensive. The download and installation was fairly easy except for the last step where I had to add the username/password. I suspect the confusion was more a result of my age and a lack of computer literacy. I contacted the support team, and they patiently walked me through different things to try. I appreciated their patience and their follow-up. The application (or is it a program?) seems to work as it was described. It may be doing much more than what I can see, and hopefully others who are more knowledgeable about this application can provide more in depth information. So far, I am very happy with it and with the continued good customer service. Thank you very much.
