I have been using Private Internet Access for about six months. I have an access problem now that I cannot get fixed. PIA's support is essentially nonexistent. The support page on their does not work. There is no phone or FAX number. Useless.

While the problem I had renewing my subscription is now resolved, it has been a frustrating process. At times, with multiple emails passing around through different people who asked questions that the email they were answering had already explained, it felt that no one was paying much attention. It began years ago when I changed my email address and, unbeknownst to me, ended up with two accounts. One of these was requested to be, and should have been, closed but appears it never was. I found this out when I was billed for renewal at the wrong time of year, years later. Also, the only way the system in place allows for a change of bank details is to cancel the previous subscription and reapply. As payment had gone through, the company needed to refund said payment but I had closed the account. Thankfully they have added that payment to the new account. If any of my details change in future, I will seriously consider cancelling altogether due to the time spent solving this issue.

Only recently started to use PIA and no problems so far. For now it seems better than the previous VPN app I was using (Easy-hide-ip).

What’s not to like? Purchased a month to give it a try. At the same time I also did a 3 day trial with NordVPN. So far PIA has been working great. I experienced super slow speeds with Nord and connectivity problems. Speed tests with PIA have been almost the same as without a VPN at all. When you take that with the pricing and security I have no reason to go anywhere else.

Don't trust the money back policy. They don't react to request of refund at first.... Then when the 7 days period is past, they tell you that it is too late. another scam operation....
