I tried several other and better-known VPN services before settling on SurfShark. They all created problems on my computer - one blocked my access to the internet entirely. Problems with the installation and use of SurfShark have been much less problematic and the problems I have encountered were ones I can work around easily. The program seems to have no noticeable effect on speed however the fact that there are a few glitches is my reason for a 4-star rating. When I have contacted support I got quick and knowledgeable answers. That is important. On the whole, I am happy and would recommend this program to others.
Overall I'm pleased with Surfshark. Price is very reasonable. App works well with iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. I couldn't configure AppleTV nor Netgear Nighthawk router. I text chatted with support about configuring AppleTV but the guy was hopelessly unaware how to help. He first suggested opening AppleTV 'browser' to download the surfshark app. AppleTV doesn't have a browser and there is no app for AppleTV. So, unhappily, I'm unable to use Surfshark with AppleTV. If there is a way and I'm missing it, I'd be very happy to know how. I changed the DNS in my router but that too didn't function. Could be me, but I've reconfigured DNS using other VPN without issues.

Surfshark is superior in both products and customer service. I have been using it for a few months now and I am very happy. I can now sleep easy as I know that my privacy is protected. Nobody can see my financial and surfing activities. I know that my ip address and location are protected with no records kept by the provider. Surfshark also provides the most cost effective option for VPN services. Initially I had some questions and needed guidance. The surfshark reps where very customer focused and provided me with excellent service that exceeded my expectations. Congratulations to these reps. Absolutely love the product, all the servers across multiple countries are very fast, and the customer service is amazing. They support many OS's and platforms, and unlimited connections. Great value for money

I'm no expert that's for sure. I have found that surfshark is really easy to use. It's so easy I can even use it :). Really, I tried one a couple of years ago and couldn't figure it out at all. I thought this was going to be the same but it turned out it was simple. You install the program and it works simple as that. Yes there are different setting you can use but without even setting anything up it is usable just the way it is. I'm impressed. The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 is that at times the internet speed is slower. But that was to be expected but it's not that slow. If you are looking for a good price VPN and easy to use and works I think sharksurf is the answer.
Above and beyond the price which is substantially cheaper than most comparable VPN's, Surfshark's support has been top notch and the VPN has worked flawlessly. I have run several test to see if there is leakage and have yet to detect a problem. It does just as advertised without any surprises or hidden fees. Moreover, the Kill feature is a real bonus and the whitelist allows me to use sites I could not otherwise browse with a VPN. I additionally have not taken a noticeable hit in speeds, be that upload or download. I have been 100% satisfied and would recommend Surfshark to anyone who is looking for a reliable, secure, and affordable VPN.
