What I like about Surfshark is the good geographical coverage of servers and kill-switch function. I cannot notice meaningful difference in browsing speed between local and distant servers, though the local ones are rated as fastest from the application itself. Wish it could load faster upon startup but this might not be from the application only, as it is related to computer recources etc. Once connected, switching between servers is lightning fast. Overall, highly recommended and great value application.
While at first I thought I was chatting with a bot, the real person on the other end helped solve my configuration issues and now I have full functionality of the service. !!!! Thank you Steven!!!!
So far I have used the VPN for 3 months, and have experienced no issues. I like the feature for blocking ads and the guides offered for setting up on different devices is helpful. Recent addition of 2 factor safety is great. Will keep using surf shark.

Be prepared to have Access Denied to certain websites you normally utilize, then have to contact customer service to figure out why. I utilized a HIPAA compliant encrypted email, so when I started emailing customer service about the issue, it over a week and 4 different customer service reps before one of them said, your emails are encrypted and we are unable to read your emails. This seems odd to me that a "tech/internet company" cant figure out how to read encrypted emails, since I've used encrypted email for over a year and NO ONE has ever had issues reading my emails. Any way, after following their instructions I was able to gain access to my Electric Company's website to pay my bill. I am still unable to access beyond Sprint.com homepage even after "whitelisting" the site, changing the connection protocols and trying different servers. Can only access it when I turn VPN off.
Its just ok...sometimes takes forever to connect.
All of these reviews are dubious. They are appear thick and fast, whilst the service paradoxically lacks substance and speed. Surfshark is secure, but only because hackers feel sorry for the proposed target.
