I decided to get a safervpn account so I can access Facebook, Youtube, etc in China. The vpn didn't work in China, and I requested a refund. They mentioned that they will give my refund even after the 14 day period ended, if the issue isn't fixed. It isn't fixed, and Donna Osborne from the support team said that the 14 day period has ended and they can't give me a refund. I sent them a screenshot of the previous email containing the after 14 days thing, and they said: Donna Osbo Donna Osborne (SaferVPN) Dec 29, 12:51 This request was closed and merged into request #8450 "Cancellation request : taoandtao...". They insisted that their "regular app" doesn't work in china and instead needs to download another app. ?????????????????? DO NOT USE THIS VPN IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHINA AND WANT A REFUND IF IT DOESNT WORK!!! Try ExpressVPN instead. Fast Connection, Not Blocked.
Bought this vpn in a deal and fell for the false marketing. a) Insanely low speeds - a dial-up connection gives you better speeds. measured 2mbps! on a 200mbps line. b) Unethical idiots - why - Possibly capping speeds to lowest possible to accommodate for growing userbase - at any given time most of their servers are giving "EXACT" same low speeds which suggests speed capping at play - which is contrary to what they boasted on their fake/false marketing page @ /fastest-vpn - Everything they said on their webpages are "lies" - claims 256bit encryptions but all the default connection configs are set to 128 bit (not even AES), and authentication handshake only at 160 bit when most VPN provides do it at industry standard 1024 or 2048 bit. - Customer service defending themselves to support the lies on their site, unable to help in resolving issues. Gone AWOL without a clue when confronted for the insane speeds complaint. - Possibly LOGGING user activity. When asked about logging, failed to comment. c) Save your money. AVOID at all costs. ------------------------------------------------------- Response to customer service bot - a) You again failed to comment on your logging policy in your response! Thanks for confirming my suspicions to public. b) At any case, your service is giving lowest possible speeds on all servers - that's not a technical glitch, that is the reality of your service. c)"Resolution right away!" Your team was not responding from 3 days, go fix that first before agitating my anger here. d) You outright STOLE my money for free, and the idiot who referred me to your bad service is not commenting on refunding my money - Thieves all over. Congrats, you officially ruined my Christmas and wishing me to have a great one - sadism redefined. You have no right to claim yours a "Customer success team"

I have been using other VPN services, but when I switched to SaferVPN, all the VPN services, I have used earlier were faded down as a lost memory. The only reason is that the quality of connection and service I received from SaferVPN. Such a fantastic service!!! Will definitely recommend it to my fellow colleagues and friends.
Excellent and speedy responses to some questions I needed to be answered. Smooth ordering, prompt activation. Good product, reasonable prices. I have bookmarked their URL for next time when I'll need it. Moreover customer support is awesome. I can ask anything at anytime 24/7 about the service and trouble shooting as well.
While subbing to their service I was a very satisfied customer - One that belongs at the top, and I have tried several VPN's. I'm giving them a 4* rating - they could have earned the final. But I had some problems with them an unsubscribing, it wasen't very .. well comfortable days I went through there. My advice to them would be update the website asap, make it so that when people want to unsubscribe, that it will be instantly. Not let it end up in a pending section and also ask for a reason to why they are unsubscribing. It's not a needed feature and will only frustrate people.
My issues were resolved immediately and seamlessly as the VPN stalled when I first downloaded the improper way. After the system was fixed it is by far the fastest one that I have used.

Customer service was excellent, I like the look of the product but I think it's slightly over-priced in comparison to its competitors. I think they may increase subscribers if they were more competitively priced. Thank you to Mary Klutcher for her exceptional support today
