Over the last few months NordVPN service has been deteriorating continuously. Servers drop with high frequency, rendering it of little utility, and support has been of the "so what, try again" nature. Today, I tried to login to my account and was informed my account had expired, even though I have a paid in advance two year contract as of Nov 22, 2016. Unbelievable. Many VPN services have expanded too quickly in the new regulatory environment, and can no longer service their customer base. I'll write it off as a bad investment and go with a European based VPN (I am in Canada)
Things a like a lot - good speeds; lots of servers, in fact even more than I need, apps are very user-friendly (on desktop and mobile also); features like kill switch and unblocking Netflix is just awsome
This service brings you everything that promises! I've got just fantastic speeds - for example without vpn with US servers ~70Mbps and connected to vpn US servers ~65Mbps! That's awsome!
Absolute nightmare. The software keeps crashing and will get stuck trying to connect. The only way to fix it is to reinstall the software which I have had to do three times now. It takes between two and four minutes to connect to even a local server in my own country and when I went to get help regarding the buggy software on the live chat feature the customer service agent wasn't really interested and took ages to reply. They refused my partial refund request. I am going to use it only until my year is up and then I going with someone better.
Strange customer service, very bad attitude to the point of rude. I asked some questions and they may as well have responded with I cannot be bothered go away. I asked why don't you want to answer the questions and someone that was even more rude responded. They then totally ignored all communications, pay these people yeah sure when hell freezes over. If you want an education in poor customer service get it from NordVPN. Ticket (ID #913264) This was addressed by real customer services Cataldo Customer Support Specialist simply gave me the answers to the questions I asked. The juniors made a good attempt but very strange. Left me with the opinion I was talking to a computer i.e. not reading the questions or avoiding the answers to simple questions i.e. answer not in database or need to actually think solution = be rude. If Cataldo leaves you've got a problem
Works charming in China on desktop. Don't work on mobile at the moment, but support guy promised to start working in a week - i'm very eagerly waiting
NordVPN worked hard and became the best VPN service in the market. All good! Great job! You get everything you need and could expect from VPN - good performance (speed), p2p, largest streaming channels list, have started to work in highly restricted countries like China and Arabia countries, ad blocker... Just happy with them.
Paid for a 2 year subscription. Installed the app on my iphone and it was working fine. However, the Mac App refuses to recognise my login information. At the same time, I can login to my account from a browser, and other ios / android apps. The worst part is customer service - I've been trying to get this resolved for the past one week and all i get is stupid automated responses from someone claiming to be a real human being (which I highly doubt, as there is no way real human beings can be this stupid). They suggested I reset my password. After resetting the password, even the iphone app does not work. Im claiming a refund with paypal. Glad I paid for it using paypal.
Пользовался до этого другим сервисом, решил попробовать Nord VPN. 100 раз уже пожалел об этом. Интернет постоянно пропадает из-за него, на некоторые сайты не пускает. Даже с Российского IP не пускает в VK. При подключении тоже иногда глючит. Подключаешь другой IP, а светиться свой реальный. Очень не рекомендую этот сервис. Поищите другой. Положительные отзывы скорей всего сами написали.
Tried the free trial VPN to use a particular streaming service, but I would not connect. So I cancelled within my time limit and they charged me for a full year!!!
