I signed up for a 2 year program with Nord while in the U.S. but couldn't evaluate if it really worked until I took my computer outside the country. Nord was a TOTAL failure. Their sign in numbers were immediately recognized and blocked. Contacting Nord by phone USLESS, by email boiler plate reply. By then past 30 purchase refund. DONT GET ROPED IN BY THESE PEOPLE RICHARD
I have never asked for a refund so fast. This service is a travesty. Slow, often breaking in the middle of the service, causing app connectivity problems. It is cheap, but it's not worth it. Better save yourself some time and pay more for some other service which might be more expensive but will run smoothly.
I tried to quit / cancel after 1 day of signing up. The only way I could get thru to somebody was the Chat window (Deacon) - NO confirmation of cancellation and the account is still active, so they do not cancel it when they say they will Actual CHAT - response to my trying to cancel Deacon Please give me a moment to check your account. 10 min later Me are you still there? Me No, I did not see you write that and I have not received a notice from my cc for it - how long doe sit take to process the refund? Your agents should not LIE when your trying to quit. If you want to grow and be competitive - try being legit, winners rise to the top for a reason. Bottom feeders who cheat the system die a slow death. NEW Read there response, they are trying to cover for what he typed, "as you can some lines were missing" THEY WERE NEVER THERE - I did not delete it he never said it, they are just one big big scam
Wanted to test the VPN during a 7 days trial period and got charged for a full year. The VPN did not work at al and after contacting customer support they told me I should contact Apple since they are not in charge. This is a very bad practice. Do not touch this VPN, it's a scam and they only care about quick money.
Nord stopped working a few months ago. It was clear Nord techs haven't any idea what to do. They keep stringing you along with things to try next but nothing worked. I signed up with IP Vanish and problems disappeared. Nord now saying no refund even though they cannot deliver the service. Scammers.

So if you don't have and active subscription, even though your current one hasn't expired you are unable to use the service, that is such a scam!
Started off with a 1 month subscription to try it out, was happy so bought a 1 year plan. Website says next renewal in a heads time - fine. Two weeks later I am charged the monthly subscription. Customer support didn't seem to care, offering my money back in a week, but no real explanation. I wonder how many other customers who did the same are still being charged monthly and just haven't checked? Seems strange that such a popular VPN provider would use dishonest business practices like this. Check your bank statements people!!! EDIT: In response to nordvpns reply; why does the renewal date on the website not then properly reflect that it's still a monthly subscription? And what use case is there for someone to buy two concurrent subscriptions? Because this is something your website allows, obviously intentionally to catch people out and then rely on them not to ask for a refund to give yourselves extra revenue.
Ottima VPN, provo per esperienza personale, stabile, veloce, l'assistenza altrettanto. Privacy Elevata, no logs, chiavi di cifrazione dure, connessione peer to peer altrettanto veloce. L'unica cosa che manchi è una funzione che cambia ip ogni X minuti.
I kept having issues with my MacBook, especially I was blocked from accessing certain websites. The most important of them was my bank, Bank of America (BOA). Apple Support Advisor, Peter, spent hours of his Friday afternoon and evening working on this problem with me. Finally after screen sharing and entering as a guest he was able to access the BOA Website, we realized that I am the one blocked from accessing the website. Interestingly enough, finally after completely removing NordVPN, I could access the BOA website, without any problem. I am totally grateful for Peter's help and the fact that my Mac is working much better than before, I have better speed, and realized that all other strange problems I had are totally disappeared now; NordVPN is a scam and source of insecurity by itself! I wonder if they did this deliberately, because I had sent them many emails complaining about difficulties to open BOA with VPN. I still have close to 2 years service with them, but I never ever again use their VPN. I hope apple removes it from app store.
