Always works perfectly - protects automatically on new networks and available for when you need a one-off connection even on known networks
For someone who isn't interested in complicating their lives, this is the perfect VPN. It doesn't get in the way, is super reliable, and doesn't slow your device down to a crawl the way many other VPN's do. Encrypt.me is perfect for the casual user, anyone who travels, or works on their devices in places with public WiFi. I keep Encrypt.me on by default, and I don't even notice a difference in performance unless I am at home and pushing my system to perform at top speeds doing multiple things at once. I don't know if Encrypt.me is right for the super paranoid and privacy minded. For international spy level protection, a VPN must be located in one of those countries that refuses to cooperate with American law enforcement, and I don't think this is the case for Encrypt.me. But then again, if you're an international spy, you probably have a nifty system of your own already.
Excellent product. I’ve had zero problems since I began using this several years ago.
Easy to use. But when overseas on hotel’s Wi-fi, at times we can’t download some e-newspapers . Perhaps some countries block VPN?
It works. Totally in the background. What more can you ask for.
Really easy to use
I've used Encrypt.me for several years as a safeguard against hackers when traveling, when connecting to public wi-fi networks. It does what any good VPN is supposed to do, by safeguarding your data and devices when online. I'm especially pleased that it interfaces with and gives the same protection on my iPhone and iPad as it does on my laptop. I do not enable Encrypt.me unless necessary, to avoid going over my monthly allotment. No need to have it on all the time. Be advised there is a bit of a learning curve, to be expected with any software, and at times there is a bit of a battle against Apple's VPN options found on iPhones and iPads, I've always been able to remedy this easily, though. There are a number of options available through the application's "Preferences" settings, and I suggest taking the time to explore them. Some are great time savers. All in all, a modest investment to avoid major problems with hacking and information theft.

Encrypt.me works great! My wife and I would not do internet communications without it. We have used Encrypt.me for several years (since shortly after it was first introduced as Cloak). We use Encrypt.me on our personal computers and mobile devices whenever we are not at home and are accessing anything online (email, websites, etc.). Encrypt.me has always started up fast and quickly established a secure connection over the internet. Its performance (throughput and response time) has been great.
