Beware, PureVPN's reviews ARE rigged. To get their product working you must contact the support, so they install it for you remotely. Then they push you to write a 5-stars review while still connected to your PC via teamviewer. This dirty company make their staff compete to see who can get more 5* reviews. Their servers aren't fast. They somehow can make speedtest show a much higher speed than they are actually offering you (up to 1.7x higher than I pay for with my ISP - yeah, doesn't make sense, right?). But when you try with other speed testers or start doing real downloads, you notice how slow their servers truly are. Also, some of the features they say they offer do not work well (including the internet kill switch!!). DO NOT BUY their lifetime subscription. If you think their 7-Days Money-Back Guarantee works, think again! It only works if you purchase the product DIRECTLY from them. BGR store/StackCommerce doesn't count and they won't give your money back, despite it's not written anywhere the guarantee doesn't work for the lifetime subscription. This is the most dishonest company I've ever seen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OLD 5-STARS REVIEW - RIGGED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, I had some trouble getting it to work, but contacted support and got help from Hamelin, who gave me excellent support via teamviewer. Was thinking of asking for a reimbursement since I couldn't get it to work, but seems everything ended up fine, so 5*. About purevpn as a software, it works very well. I've been using PIA for two years, but the speeds I get from purevpn are even better than what I pay for (without any VPN connected). I'd guess they use some kind of compression.
