I had problems connecting to my PureVPN account tonight. I repeatedly received an error message that it could not connect to the server (I live in the US and was trying to connect to the UK). I went onto the PureVPN live chat and worked with a technical assistant for about four hours. He advised me to reboot my device and connect so that he would help me remotely, but once I reconnected, he had disappeared. I was transferred to another technical assistant who spent about 10 minutes helping me, asking the same questions over and over, and then he told me to reconnect to live chat in another hour -- he said they were all too busy! I asked him to connect me to a supervisor because I was going to cancel my subscription. I had lost faith with PureVPN. A gentleman called Hamelin (Senior technical Specialist) came on and he was confident, knowledgable, and skilled. He understood my frustration and he offered to help me remotely. After downloading Teamviewer, Hamelin took over the computer and within a very short time he had my system up and running again! I was very frustrated when I first talked to him, but he was so patient and understanding that my faith in PureVPN was restored. Not only will I not cancel my subscription, but I will definitely recommend it to friends. I would appreciate this recommendation about Hamelin being sent to the highest level of management. He is a credit to PureVPN!

O'Brien was a star! He talked me through everything and got it all going for me! There was no way I could have ever figured out how to fix the system/problem but he was both patient and really helpful!! Also, I am not at all 'tech savvy' so he was a great help! I have to say i WAS quite impressed with the service with a huge amount of available servers all with quite good speeds and at a reasonable price. But then i was sent two emails only 1 day after purchase saying my subscription was overdue and demanding i pay $19.83! I was shocked as the original 1 month subscription should only have cost me $8.99 which i payed through PayPal the previous day and i had been using the service so i was very confused. I then proceeded to have a 'conversation' with Live Chat support. I would't call it a conversation. Without giving me chance to speak i was asked my email address which i gave and then was rushed and the man basically said your issue is resolved Good Bye!. And then said it has been cancelled. I was so confused by this stage as I didn't know what he'd cancelled or what he'd done because i wasn't event given a chance to ask a question! So i left bad feedback and he asked me to change it. That's not really feedback then is it? if I'm being told what to put. Maybe I'm overreacting but customer service just struck me as downright RUDE! Overall Not happy and would definitely think twice before using again. UPDATE: I have now been given a full written apology from the PureVPN Team. Much better customer service
