PIA is definitely a step up from my former VPN. It automatically connects whether I'm using Wi-Fi or ethernet access to the 'net. And it has a server in my city, which significantly sped up through-put. Haven't found any negatives yet. Recommended.

Be aware that your contract will be automaticaly renewed without the possibility to be refund. I am so happy that I took only a 1 month contract not a 2 years. The speed of PIA is OK but often lagging on video streaming. I will not use PIA anymore. As I can see most of your review are dating from 2016, So I dont think this review will show up on your site but I will find a place to rewiew PIA.

I have used PIA for a number of years now. I have never really had much of a problem. There have been odd issues but in general very reliable. The clients work well, works OK on a pfsense router. There are some major issues with PIA though. It won't work well with Netflix and iPlayer. More problematically for me it won't play nicely with SIP based VOIP. On the router I can filter out SIP devices but I can't run SIP VOIP app on PC. ExpressVPN is far better in that it offers VPN split tunelling allowing VOIP apps to bypass the VPN. Also, you can either bypass Netflix or iPlayer app if you are having issues (not usually an issue with ExpressVPN). It is a shame that PIA does not support split tunnelling as this is a major limitation for me and I might have to ditch it in favour of ExpressVPN.
